Wow a real live Palin Supporter. How does it feel to be smarter than the candidates your supporting. By their standards they could train you up and have you apply for the VP spot. So glad I'm a Dem. Cuz if Barack was that retarded I'd be voting for a third party candidate hell if Biden were that retarded I'd be voting for a third party candidate. This speaks volumes upon volumes about McCain's judgment. His choice was reckless and totally disregarded the lives of his American constituants.
Lol i'm not even a fan of McCain/Palin, but i still can't stand to watch those interviews without pausing to take a breather. They are so uncomfortable and awkward, I cringe every time she starts to answer.
I would gain a new respect for Gov. Palin if she would bow out gracefully.
Just not before the debates, I'm not yet sick of watching this train-wreck. I get giddy inside just thinking about her trying to B.S. America for 90 min, all while Biden is mopping the floor with her. hehe
when something seems too good to be true it usally is. Pain is too good to be true. I'll bet money she will withdraw. Thats a polite way of saying she will be removed. The republicans are in this to win and they play for keeps. As soon as they figure out that she is going to cost them the election she will be history. They will get a better running mate and the election will be close again. The republicans will do ANYTHING to win so expect a rigged election. Be ready to hit the streets.
There are some states where early voting has already started, so she cannot legally back out now. Atleast that's what I heard on the news and I hope its true cause she is helping Obama win.XD
Both Palin and Mcain want to make Rape victims pay for medical bill and evidence gathering.. It was Joe Biden who stopped this. Palin tried to ban books... Please , everyday we should post video showing that she does not even know what a VP does... Are there truly no more honest republicans??? can you not think of our country first??
I still can't figure out how she does it: home schooling her kids, running governments looking good for hubby (who must not make enough money for her to stay home) and the public---even having time for an affair! And guys like Rep Scarboro leave Washington because he wants to be more of a dad to his teenage sons afer hearing the sad stories from other dads who couldn't keep their children close to them because of how Washington is.
no leave the alaskan milf shes the nail in the mccain bus wheel he chose her 4 the possible votes but he should have done what obama did. mccain said that obama has no expiriance and dosent know about foreign relations so he chose someone who has expiriance and knows about F.R but mccain instead of choosing someone with expirence in economy he chose somone with no expirience in economy of in anything

But they are more conservative than our extreme conservatives, Alaska is the last thing we need. We are trying to avoid being like America.... no offense.
NDP and the very left elements of the Liberal party would from into the new Labour Party of Canada, while the other half of the liberals become like the NDP right now, or die out for good.
Just got done watching the debates... Did anyone notice that Obama was playing defense A LOT while McCain said some false things about him. I couldn't understand what McCain was talking about because he kept trying to slam Obama. The VP debate is next week, um, that's going to be a massacre based off of Palin's previous interviews on easy topics that she SHOULD know, forget about giving her the benefit of doubt that she may learn it... it's over. But McCain could still win:-(
it's noting against obama really, he might be better than mccain it's jusy i don't think either is ready for the job at hand. not looking to piss people off but i can't help what i think either....
emotion has nothing to do with it. mccain wants more of the same and his vp is scary and obama does not have enough exp though biden might help there. as far as i can see both candidates are a lose-lose situation for america and it's people.
emotion has everything to do with it because the reasoning is not there. You just feel better about how McCain did. Not exactly substantiative. But that's the effect of politics on people like you. Somehow in spite of their huge differences, you're able to assess their strengths and weaknesses and call it a wash. That's sad. This isn't about McCain and Obama. This is about you. What is important to you. Ask yourself that.
if i've assesed their strengths and weakness nominay and i find both candidates wanting how is that an emotional response? you wrote:
"somehow in spite of their huge differences, your able to assess their strengths and weaknesses and call it a wash"
now that does not express anything emotional if i've done as you suggested. all you can do is assess both candidates as best i can. you call that emotional and i say your wrong
also saying "that's the effect of politics on people like you" this is another ridiculous statement since you know nothing of me except what you've read in a few posts so you have even less to go on than i do with both candidates. don't jump to conclusions...
You originally type "not looking to piss people off but i can't help what i think either...." but then you expect something other than me dissing what you have to say. Can't have it both ways. You've given no logic to your argument. These are two very different candidates, so obviously the issue is not them, it's you. You need to figure out what's important to you, or don't go into the voting booth.
there are exceptions but let's say your having a house built as an example. who do you want working on it. a builder with 20 years experience or a builder with one year experience? also experience in and of itself is not always good especially if you say you have foreign policy experience cause you can see russia from your house
I look at experience from an airline prospective. A person who has been flying for 20 years in some ways is no different than a person with 6 years... they both can still make a mistake... I've flown with instructors with way more experience than me and I did better than them and I'm the one in training... so in some aspects experience isn't everything. But it's also hypocritical for McCain to talk about Obama when McCain's VP can see Russia from her house (sorry for the cheap shot).
I am a liberal, but have always been a sincere McCain fan until this campaign.... Don't you think his disposition tonight was an indication of how he handles opposing view points and conflict?
I don't think he is right for the job at all, but even if I still did I would think this would have alarmed me. I do wonder if even most Reps feel comfortable knowing that is how he is going to walk into a negotiation. Giving no respect and not even glancing at a foreign head of state.
I'm usually quite neautral but this time it seems that McCain is very indecisive (spelling) . I just think as a president he would be weak and give in to lobbyests.
I don't agree with all of Obama's solutions but his character is that of someone that is strong and morally responsible.
i don't agree with everything obama says i do think he'd make a better pres than mccain. all i'm saying is that i still don't think he has enough experience for the job. i'm sure i'm getting thumbs down from people who are looking at candidates thru party affiliation instead of actually looking at the candidates. some people put party ahead of country and this is the most disgraceful thing of all....
and to add to my last post i never thought mccain would ever be a good pres because all he wants to do is follow bushs failed policies and his addition of sarah palin cinched that. she not only has less experience than obama she has no clue whatsoever about foreign policy and any other number of issues. add to that the fact that she's a creationist,a censorer and is still being investigated for abuse of power( which she is not willing to meet with investigators about) all dump macainin the trash
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I'd like to dump McCain in the trash, but unfortunately the alternative is worse, which is liberal spending disaster for the Country while Obama gets to blame his failures on Bush. As far as Palin goes, is she not the epitnome of what Obama claims to be? No experience in Politics, I like that. Try looking at Lib Of Congress at the wasteful spending of Senator Obama and see the truth... unbelievable, 680 bills sponsored/cosponsored? He's a reckless spender. Ignorance is Bliss!
Did you know McCain was the one who ruined the talks in Washington over the bailout and his plan is to further deregulation (which is what got us into this) and give a tax cut to all the companies for two years. McCain chose his VP after meeting with her once (the day before announcing her) and talked on the phone once 6 months prior for 15 min. Did you know McCain has voted 100% with Bush so far in 2008. Did you know McCain has said he doesn't know about the economy...
it was a bad political move that makes this situation span out even longer. I believe his "suspension of campaign" and this thing in Washington was a political ploy to make himself look presidential and show some empathy but if you listen to the politicians they say the exact same thing and actually are pissed at McCain for this petty move on his part, some Republicans (true Republicans) are voting against McCain because they know he's an idiot...
you're confusing me? who are you voting for, it sounds like you're leaning towards Obama? that's great, whenever I hear McCain speak it sounds rehearsed and not from the hear, I don't know maybe Obama is just a good speaker but I believe Obama more and that he will try to make change. He has been talking with top advisers to fix the economy for over a year he didn't even tell the press or anyone about that, it was leaked by fmr FCC president (REPUBLICAN) that shows how selfless he is on issues.
i would'nt vote for mccain if my life depended it on it. obama would make a better pres than mccain but i still worry about his experience as well. he may be a little to liberal for my liking as i tend to be middle of the road. being completely liberal or conservative is a problem as both sides have some merit but by themselves it can lead to trouble. i still want to see the vp debate as well and go from there.
honestly i've always like joe biden and would probably have voted for him as pres. anytime i've heard him speak on an issue he always seems straight forward and does'nt dance around questions as much as some others we know (like someone elses vp pick)
experience hmm which of them is running for re election neither.jus sayin hell jfk was hardly known and did a good job in his short time so give em a chance to get it right..or wrong
This debate was like the Kennedy/Nixon debate in the '60 Kennedy won the debate on television based off of his poise, it was clear by the image who would be better as President. This debate kind of imaged that in the sense that Obama looked more comfortable than McCain and he showed more respect for his opponent rather than slam him and laugh about his plans also not looking at him. Clear sign of how McCain would handle speaking with foreign leaders who maybe anti-life.(for lack of a better term)
Did you know that we as citizens of this great country have no power over these people once we elect them, and that your pandering to the liberal left is WAY OVER the top? I just feel so defenseless when Americans attack each other with ignorance, I'm unarmed for the task. Come on people, if you don't know the truth, then why sling another ring of useless snot over this nasty booger? One of those that would rather add to the problem rather than solve it, I guess.
what? we do have the power if we elect them so if we vocalize our concerns then maybe we can inflict change. I'm not saying politics is as plain as black and white but we as the people should be able to vocalize our concerns in a constructive manner with intelligence and some sort of ideological understanding.
dude, it doesn't even matter anymore, lol, so many people responded to my one comment that it's hard to keep track of everyone and who I responded to... lol:-)
hmmmm.. the way i see things.. if she stays it people are gonna see how dumb and not fit for the VP spot.. and if the repub take sarah palin out.. mccain will lose 70% of the women vote. so its kinda win win for the Dems :0)
But it also shows how 70% of women are dumb! that they don't care about policy but what sits between a person legs. Some feminist groups aren't voting for Obama because of the Clinton thing, that makes me a little angry, oh well. But same can be said about Obama being black and McCain being white and in the military... it's funny how people without knowledge will vote based on shallow things.
Your other points were actually pretty good...and then you make a HUGE generalization about women. I'm pissed off about zealous feminists as much as anyone, but saying that nearly 3/4 of women are "dumb" is insane. You should have quit while you were ahead.
lol, I probably should restate that:-) If some of the women voting for McCain are just voting because he has a VP candidate then I think that's stupid on their part. That was a generalization and after reading that I disagreed with myself:-)
Palin is an embarrassment, she thinks that knowledge of the geographical boundaries of Alaska is foreign policy.. well I have an advanced degree in studying and creating policy and Patrolling the Alaskan Border is hardly having foreign policy experience.
Palin has been nothing but bad news ever since she was chosen as the VP candidate. Whether it is from an interview or looking at her history we are discovering more and more terrible things about this woman. She is clueless on foreign and economic policy. Do we really want someone like her to be a heartbeat away form the presidency?
"McCain still has the power to find someone smarter. "
NOT really, given his poor judgment on the debate debacle 1st not participating and then participating leads to more questions about his poor judgment.
I feel you, but the "what if" matters. (At least to me.) If he could have hired a woman, mother, Republican, and KNOWN... He totally skipped Elizabeth Dole.
Had he picked Mrs. Dole, this election would be much more interesting. Plus, Dole is a woman that could humble McCain. She ran the RED CROSS! That right there is domestic and foreign policy experience. This McCain guy is out to lunch. He's done. Kaput.
HAHAHA! Yeah I agree, except for this shit going around about Obama being for the bail out while McPalin were angry about it. I wonder where this will end up. I am getting to the point where I don't care if McPalin gets in office at least it will be the funniest term in history!
Well, don't take my statement too seriously. I am fully aware of how dangerous these 2 are. It's sad they have made it this far in the process to begin with.

KangaKucha 3 years ago
I hope you don't mean Alaska, because we don't want it anymore.
snipzor 3 years ago
Alaska should join Canada, yes.
KangaKucha 3 years ago
But they are more conservative than our extreme conservatives, Alaska is the last thing we need. We are trying to avoid being like America.... no offense.
snipzor 3 years ago 2
thats why they need to be straughted out by Canada, and not abandoned like America has done.
KangaKucha 3 years ago
You wish we were like that, and so do I. But Alaska is your concern, just like Hawaii and Utah (Or any other lame state of the day).
snipzor 3 years ago
Hawaii should be indepedent dominon.
Canada, btw, needs a Labour party and no more Liberal shit.
KangaKucha 3 years ago
Well no more NDP would be fine.
snipzor 3 years ago
NDP and the very left elements of the Liberal party would from into the new Labour Party of Canada, while the other half of the liberals become like the NDP right now, or die out for good.
KangaKucha 3 years ago
Very unlikely.
snipzor 3 years ago
i wouldnt say that, refrom and PC mearged didnt they?
KangaKucha 3 years ago
is this the end of ah Mccain, you;ve done it again?
please let it be so. I hate that bitch, she is a disgrace to Alaska.

Just got done watching the debates... Did anyone notice that Obama was playing defense A LOT while McCain said some false things about him. I couldn't understand what McCain was talking about because he kept trying to slam Obama. The VP debate is next week, um, that's going to be a massacre based off of Palin's previous interviews on easy topics that she SHOULD know, forget about giving her the benefit of doubt that she may learn it... it's over. But McCain could still win:-(
OBAMA/BIDEN '08
ERAUPRCWA 3 years ago 9
the debate showed how both candidates suck, we are so screwed no matter who wins....
hellshade2 3 years ago
obama will not screw us. obama!!!
Pelonetillo 3 years ago 2
it's noting against obama really, he might be better than mccain it's jusy i don't think either is ready for the job at hand. not looking to piss people off but i can't help what i think either....
hellshade2 3 years ago
that sounds very emotional on your part
Nominay 3 years ago
emotion has nothing to do with it. mccain wants more of the same and his vp is scary and obama does not have enough exp though biden might help there. as far as i can see both candidates are a lose-lose situation for america and it's people.
hellshade2 3 years ago
emotion has everything to do with it because the reasoning is not there.
Nominay 3 years ago 2
if i've assesed their strengths and weakness nominay and i find both candidates wanting how is that an emotional response? you wrote:
"somehow in spite of their huge differences, your able to assess their strengths and weaknesses and call it a wash"
now that does not express anything emotional if i've done as you suggested. all you can do is assess both candidates as best i can. you call that emotional and i say your wrong
hellshade2 3 years ago
also saying "that's the effect of politics on people like you" this is another ridiculous statement since you know nothing of me except what you've read in a few posts so you have even less to go on than i do with both candidates. don't jump to conclusions...
hellshade2 3 years ago
You originally type "not looking to piss people off but i can't help what i think either...." but then you expect something other than me dissing what you have to say. Can't have it both ways. You've given no logic to your argument. These are two very different candidates, so obviously the issue is not them, it's you. You need to figure out what's important to you, or don't go into the voting booth.
Nominay 3 years ago
experience doesn't mean that they're great for the job, all the time.
ERAUPRCWA 3 years ago
there are exceptions but let's say your having a house built as an example. who do you want working on it. a builder with 20 years experience or a builder with one year experience? also experience in and of itself is not always good especially if you say you have foreign policy experience cause you can see russia from your house
works both ways i guess.
hellshade2 3 years ago
I look at experience from an airline prospective. A person who has been flying for 20 years in some ways is no different than a person with 6 years... they both can still make a mistake... I've flown with instructors with way more experience than me and I did better than them and I'm the one in training... so in some aspects experience isn't everything. But it's also hypocritical for McCain to talk about Obama when McCain's VP can see Russia from her house (sorry for the cheap shot).
ERAUPRCWA 3 years ago
I am a liberal, but have always been a sincere McCain fan until this campaign.... Don't you think his disposition tonight was an indication of how he handles opposing view points and conflict?
I don't think he is right for the job at all, but even if I still did I would think this would have alarmed me. I do wonder if even most Reps feel comfortable knowing that is how he is going to walk into a negotiation. Giving no respect and not even glancing at a foreign head of state.
That is dangerous.
jophus82 3 years ago 3
I stopped being a McCain fan when he spoke at the Republican national convention in 2004.
Nominay 3 years ago 2
do you think bush is more qualified, just out of interest?
atotti2000 3 years ago
no i don't. everytime i saw bush campaign a little voice in the back of my head kept screaming the man is an idiot...
hellshade2 3 years ago
Fair doos.
I'm usually quite neautral but this time it seems that McCain is very indecisive (spelling) . I just think as a president he would be weak and give in to lobbyests.
I don't agree with all of Obama's solutions but his character is that of someone that is strong and morally responsible.
atotti2000 3 years ago
i don't agree with everything obama says i do think he'd make a better pres than mccain. all i'm saying is that i still don't think he has enough experience for the job. i'm sure i'm getting thumbs down from people who are looking at candidates thru party affiliation instead of actually looking at the candidates. some people put party ahead of country and this is the most disgraceful thing of all....
hellshade2 3 years ago
and to add to my last post i never thought mccain would ever be a good pres because all he wants to do is follow bushs failed policies and his addition of sarah palin cinched that. she not only has less experience than obama she has no clue whatsoever about foreign policy and any other number of issues. add to that the fact that she's a creationist,a censorer and is still being investigated for abuse of power( which she is not willing to meet with investigators about) all dump macainin the trash
hellshade2 3 years ago 2
This comment has received too many negative votes show
I'd like to dump McCain in the trash, but unfortunately the alternative is worse, which is liberal spending disaster for the Country while Obama gets to blame his failures on Bush.
McCain '08
mynameisjohnb 3 years ago
Actually..you sorry-ass-ignorant idiot.
Its McCain whose theme is, "HIS NOT FIT TO LEAD." And when we see his VP choice, its an obvious contradiction. So don't be stupid, vote right.
ayonsil 3 years ago 2
Did you know McCain was the one who ruined the talks in Washington over the bailout and his plan is to further deregulation (which is what got us into this) and give a tax cut to all the companies for two years. McCain chose his VP after meeting with her once (the day before announcing her) and talked on the phone once 6 months prior for 15 min. Did you know McCain has voted 100% with Bush so far in 2008. Did you know McCain has said he doesn't know about the economy...
OBAMA/BIDEN '08
ERAUPRCWA 3 years ago
i knew that and his plan of cutting taxes on these companies for 2 years is also outrageous.
hellshade2 3 years ago
it was a bad political move that makes this situation span out even longer.
ERAUPRCWA 3 years ago
mccains canceling of his appearance on letterman says a lot about john mccain. he can't even lie successfully.
hellshade2 3 years ago
you're confusing me? who are you voting for, it sounds like you're leaning towards Obama? that's great, whenever I hear McCain speak it sounds rehearsed and not from the hear, I don't know maybe Obama is just a good speaker but I believe Obama more and that he will try to make change. He has been talking with top advisers to fix the economy for over a year he didn't even tell the press or anyone about that, it was leaked by fmr FCC president (REPUBLICAN) that shows how selfless he is on issues.
ERAUPRCWA 3 years ago
i would'nt vote for mccain if my life depended it on it. obama would make a better pres than mccain but i still worry about his experience as well. he may be a little to liberal for my liking as i tend to be middle of the road. being completely liberal or conservative is a problem as both sides have some merit but by themselves it can lead to trouble. i still want to see the vp debate as well and go from there.
hellshade2 3 years ago
that's an honest opinion and I can respect that... as long as you don't like McCain you're OKAY with me:-)
ERAUPRCWA 3 years ago
honestly i've always like joe biden and would probably have voted for him as pres. anytime i've heard him speak on an issue he always seems straight forward and does'nt dance around questions as much as some others we know (like someone elses vp pick)
hellshade2 3 years ago 3
experience hmm which of them is running for re election neither.jus sayin hell jfk was hardly known and did a good job in his short time so give em a chance to get it right..or wrong
SharpWanker 3 years ago
i did'nt think either of them did very good in the pres debate but obama had it over mccain. the man would'nt even look at him...
hellshade2 3 years ago
This debate was like the Kennedy/Nixon debate in the '60 Kennedy won the debate on television based off of his poise, it was clear by the image who would be better as President. This debate kind of imaged that in the sense that Obama looked more comfortable than McCain and he showed more respect for his opponent rather than slam him and laugh about his plans also not looking at him. Clear sign of how McCain would handle speaking with foreign leaders who maybe anti-life.(for lack of a better term)
ERAUPRCWA 3 years ago
Did you know that we as citizens of this great country have no power over these people once we elect them, and that your pandering to the liberal left is WAY OVER the top? I just feel so defenseless when Americans attack each other with ignorance, I'm unarmed for the task. Come on people, if you don't know the truth, then why sling another ring of useless snot over this nasty booger? One of those that would rather add to the problem rather than solve it, I guess.
mynameisjohnb 3 years ago
what? we do have the power if we elect them so if we vocalize our concerns then maybe we can inflict change. I'm not saying politics is as plain as black and white but we as the people should be able to vocalize our concerns in a constructive manner with intelligence and some sort of ideological understanding.

dude, it doesn't even matter anymore, lol, so many people responded to my one comment that it's hard to keep track of everyone and who I responded to... lol:-)
ERAUPRCWA 3 years ago
hmmmm.. the way i see things.. if she stays it people are gonna see how dumb and not fit for the VP spot.. and if the repub take sarah palin out.. mccain will lose 70% of the women vote. so its kinda win win for the Dems :0)
souldragon24 3 years ago 6
But it also shows how 70% of women are dumb! that they don't care about policy but what sits between a person legs. Some feminist groups aren't voting for Obama because of the Clinton thing, that makes me a little angry, oh well. But same can be said about Obama being black and McCain being white and in the military... it's funny how people without knowledge will vote based on shallow things.
ERAUPRCWA 3 years ago 2
@ERAUPRCWA:
Duuuuuude.
Nooooooo.
Your other points were actually pretty good...and then you make a HUGE generalization about women. I'm pissed off about zealous feminists as much as anyone, but saying that nearly 3/4 of women are "dumb" is insane. You should have quit while you were ahead.
vaderwalks 3 years ago
lol, I probably should restate that:-) If some of the women voting for McCain are just voting because he has a VP candidate then I think that's stupid on their part. That was a generalization and after reading that I disagreed with myself:-)
ERAUPRCWA 3 years ago
Well that's a fair enough statement. I won't hold it against you :)
vaderwalks 3 years ago
3/4 of men are dumb too. But I watched the video twice and still can't find when he said 3/4 of women were... please post the time-marker.

I was quoting ERAUPCWA's comment, not the video. I thought it was kinda obvious, judging from the "@ERAUPRCWA:" at the beginning of my comment.....

Do we really want someone like her to be a heartbeat away form the presidency?
mugat31 3 years ago 2
I hope Palin stays in. She is an imbecile, and almost guarantees a Rebublican loss in November.
drlarrymitchell 3 years ago 10
But is raises an interesting proposition. McCain still has the power to find someone smarter.
katey1dog 3 years ago
"McCain still has the power to find someone smarter. "
NOT really, given his poor judgment on the debate debacle 1st not participating and then participating leads to more questions about his poor judgment.
lezxotic 3 years ago 3
I feel you, but the "what if" matters. (At least to me.) If he could have hired a woman, mother, Republican, and KNOWN... He totally skipped Elizabeth Dole.
Had he picked Mrs. Dole, this election would be much more interesting. Plus, Dole is a woman that could humble McCain. She ran the RED CROSS! That right there is domestic and foreign policy experience. This McCain guy is out to lunch. He's done. Kaput.
katey1dog 3 years ago
HAHAHA! Yeah I agree, except for this shit going around about Obama being for the bail out while McPalin were angry about it. I wonder where this will end up. I am getting to the point where I don't care if McPalin gets in office at least it will be the funniest term in history!
