glad it helped some one and yes i understand the bearing plastic housing is weak and breaks. If u can buy another steering wheel that needs fixing but in good condition then u can build a must stronger wheel

Thanks for the tips on disassembling and reassembling the Xbox strg wheel.It really helped to take the guesswork out of the task.In the end my bearing was OK but the piece holding the bearing was broken in several places.It took a few hours but now as strong or stronger than when new.If I can figure out how to send you some pics I'm sure you'll get a kick out of seeing them.Thanks again. -Paul- aka:Pavloosh
