final exams last semester. 4 hours sleep/night for about 2.5 weeks w/ no caffeine , i got pretty good grades. so i guess it was worth it, i enjoyed my vacation by sleeping as much as possible.
Thank goodness our bodies can take some wear and tear because...WOW! :O The worst thing that I put in my body would have to be the many months of fast food for 2 meals per day and night time binges...so McDonalds/Subway for lunch and then pizza/donairs for supper. My night time binges would consist of ice cream drumsticks, chocolate bars, lemon tarts, chips, jerky, etc. All I can say is that I am very glad to be a raw vegan now! <3 <3
When I was wrestling I wanted to drop weight at the beginning of the season 4 or 5 weight class's, I went from 118 down to 97#'s in less than a week by not eating anything a working out till I passed out.
The worst thing I have put my body through is probably losing weight not the correct way. That is by not eating enough, or bingeing and taking laxatives all just to be as thin as my ballet teacher wanted me to be. Unfortunately I still struggle with an eating disorder today and I have been trying to fight it. I was a mere 90 pounds and about 156cm (so already quite tiny) and dropped to 75 pounds. At the moment I am around 83 pounds. Anyone reading this... DO IT THE HEALTHY WAY!
I guess the worse thing I've done to my body is done on a regular basis. I have a poor sleep routine (weekly) and sleep on a full stomach, drink coffee, and consume too much sugar - alongside bouts of not enough food. I often go 12 hours at work without peeing - and that tells me a lot about how kind I'm being to my body. Your story may be extreme, but it sure did remind me of how unkind we can be to our bodies!
@s2macdon Yes going that long without urination is a sign of extreme dehydration. I hope you're able to start to incorporate more fluids into your routine.
hmmm probably getting down to 90 pounds. i mean, i know it doesn't sound horrible, but i'm a 5'7 girl, so it's a bit worse when ur tall
