Miami's cannon bit was awesome, too. Too bad i missed this. The DWD tho is absolutely awful, holy shit. Never heard them play it this badly. It's the swamp of balloons onstage. They all got stuck in the front rows and the stage.

While it isn't as much of a 'production' as last year's NYE it's WAY better musically than just hearing Meatstick repeated ad nauseum (nausea kicked in around 10 minutes, then kept on going) for 20 minutes. Thought it was a perfect blend of psychedelic visual overload and improvisational music. Best countdown ever besides 12/31/93. Conceptually amazing and well executed. Didn't take you out of the show, simply enhanced it beyond belief.

To those "comparing" NYE stunts...get over it!!! It was a blast...last year was a blast...all Phish new years shows are tons of fun, and if you don't like it, don't come. To you dancers, your role was awesome, visually epic, fun and very phishy. I wonder how it felt to observe/feel this from above....especially if they've never witnessed a phish crowd before. I hope everyone has a safe and prosperous new years.
