Others have said it's lens flare, a processing flaw etc. BUT....during the slow-motion sequence, watch as the object passes the cloud; it appears to accelerate rapidly, and the shape 'elongates' appropriately, appearing to be a very fast moving object. I'm impressed by the UFO clip.

My father was a WWII fighter and he and his squadron were accompanied by these "foo fighters" many time when at maximum height at cruise speed.

Luftwaffe pilots also reported this phenomenon as well as USA air force pilots.

This cannot be attributed to mass hypnosis nor anything like ut, but I'm not saying that these were alien craft. More than likely it can be put down to natural phenomena.

It appears, as soon as the fighter's right wing dips, as the fighter keeps going the light source disappears. This is a glass light reflection or refraction. The camera guy is probably sheilded from the wind or the lens was tilted just so to cause this. It appears just when the fighter's wing dips.Seems to me the light source is in (conjunction) 2 objects in flight.This is how UFOS are often mistaken combine the age of the film era. You're a little wrong there. Cruise missile means guided, guided didn't exist until AFTER WWII. There were rockets, but there weren't missiles. The accuracy was so bad on the V-1 rocket that they could only target very large structures. I let him take the credit for the film. Although he was the camera man that day I was the one who shot this sequence because he had to take a piss. That was when I captured this fantastic piece of lint on film.
