  • There is one of these right at the end of my apartment complex. I can see it from my window...still wish we had some Thunderbolts here in Aurora.

  • What a crap siren!

  • Sounds like someone's phone is ringing

  • There is no point in speaking words distinctly if each word is spoken quickly.

  • i never really thought of a colorado to be a place that gets tornados. only snow and sunshine lol. i live in washington and i can only think of 1 time there has been a tornado. it was in enumclaw.

  • Now they'll also be making the test annoucements in Arabic, French, German, Chinese, both Mandarin & Cantonese, & Klingon. Ukk Tok Tak Baka! So much for English as the Only Official Language! Why should I have to Press 1 for English? Make them Press 9/11! In the future there will be so many Languages Required that all Tests will take at least One Week to Complete! They'll also be building a Lighted Platform with a Cable Hoist for the Deaf/Mute Interperter!

  • @ZEEMADMAN هذا ليس سوى اختبار. (This is only a test.) I know what you mean. Commerce City is full of immigrants. The whole city is pretty much a ghetto.

  • haha its a fart

  • I really think this is a 2905 because it has a type 3 control box

  • Hey yall, the state I came from is colorado. All probably move back because thats where all my family and friends are. Whelen sirens seem to be popular in CO.

  • @Busdude97 im moving back to my home state, Oklahoma, this summer.

  • @dillonrockband Cool! Wha part of Oklahoma do you live in?

  • @Busdude97 was born and raised in Norman (favorite place on earth) and we moved out here, now were moving to Mustang which is southwest of OKC.

  • man i love that guy on 1:13

  • that was actually me. :P

  • i sould probably do that for my next video lol

  • first time i heard this i thought someones music was bumpin lol than i heard thos beeppppppppppp sirens and im like oh shit :O

  • I heard this in person in October last year. Sounded great from ~ 1Mi out.

  • i can hear it perfectly in the distance from my house and i like in fox run about 10ish miles away

  • i live in wright farms which is like 14ish miles out and can hear it perfectly. 120th and holly is the nearest major intersection. It'd be better if Thornton had a system of their own, though.

  • Thorntons mayor dosent know anything a bout "public safty" beacuse he took them out about 10 years ago but i think northglenn and thornton are thinking about putting them back but they cant find the money

  • Ésta ha sido una prueba del sistema amonestador de la emergencia, éste es solamente una prueba.

  • éste es solamente una prueba = this is only a test?

  • Yup.

  • That doesn't look like a 2905. I think what your really meaning is 2805. 2800 Series have those big screens while the 2900 Series have those small screens closer to the drivers. Other then that, great recording.

  • thanks for the correction, i updated the vid to say 2805.

  • No problem. :)

  • Sweet vid, i kinda like the voice. I'd love to learn Spanish lol

  • In the manual, it states that the sound from this series is projected overhead not straight down. So the sound carries over a long distance, so if you were a 1/4 mile away, it may be louder than being right near it

  • thanks for the info, that explains it not being as loud as the 2T22. right there i didnt even need hearing protection.

  • Great sounding Whelen 2905, Dillon!
