I used the scientia derma roller for a period of months. I stopped abruptly when I noticed that the roller was actually aging my skin!!! The lines around my eyes not only got worse, but started to cross hatch (like smokers lines). The theory sounds great, the reality however is appalling.

I am sorry to say this, but I wholeheartedly disagree. I am sure you will delete this response. I have used the dermarollers since 2009, so, that's almost 2 years. I used it on several areas and in several ways. I used it very lightly, for prolonged periods of times, like you are explaining in this video, and I have used them with very long needles, in a heavy traumatic way every 7 weeks. I haven't seen any any improvement AT ALL, I can guarantee you that this stuff is useless. I promise

@drugaware I don't buy it, really. LIke many other users, I have used the dermarollers religiously and I didn't get any improvement. NOT AT ALL. And I have purchased only brand name rollers, the most expesnive and best ones. I changed my rollers every 2 weeks, and I have a very healthy diet. There is no subtle change here, why can't you just admit that it doesn't work at all? It doesn;t work, period.

i had my first session of dermaroller today with my doctor.

she also applied collagen and stem cells.

im impress my deep scar scars elevated after 3 hours.

my skin has not yet completely flattened but the immediate result is encouraging.

i hope its not just due to the inflammatory reaction.

i cant wait to see what happens in the next 3 days.

@johnsmdm i had my second session 2 weeks ago. it was more painful. according to my doctor it will become more painful in the succeeding sessions because the skin becomes thinner as it remodels and minimizing the hypertrophic scars. thus it is best to have 3-4weeks interval between sessions, allowing skin to regenerate. no wonder she asked about my pain tolerance (and i purchased the longest needles).

@johnsmdm i havent achieved the results i wanted yet from this second session. but the improvement is encouraging me to continue. from the testimony of her other patients, it takes about 4-6 sessions to achieve satisfactory improvement.

i know that collagen are not permanent. they are lost overtime inspite of regenerating them. thereby this treatment has to be done constantly. soon ill be doing this by myself at home.

If you are using a 1mm or 1.5mm roller then use it ONLY once every 4-6 weeks, no more! you will only hinder the results of your previous roll. Unfortunately there is ALOT of incorrect info on the internet when it comes to using a derma roller.

Any cream will be absorbed more effectively after using a Derma Roller. However, some creams or lotions - Bio Oil, as an example state that you must not use on broken skin. Also, some perfumes can sting a little. That is why we have a 100% natural source vitamin rich cream with no perfume so it is nothing but soothing and healing.

Yes, it is a good idea, because for around 40 minutes after using the roller your skin can absorb the active ingredients in the cream a lot more effectively.

i just got it and i do see new skin that appear and my deep streach marks i still have it but the skin lift up and is level to my skin nice but i just have one problem that i still see out line of my streach marks and brown area of my skin it use to be red but now is brown why is that and how do i take out my out line of the streach marks let me know ok

You can use it gently up to 5 times per week, or else once per week if you are more vigorous and use numbing cream. I have seen great results with just 2-3 times a week of gentle use. All this product does is encourage your skin to replace the lost collagen - same as laser treatment, microdermabrasion or chemical peels - except that it doesn't create a trauma to the skin like they do...
