Why are you idiots crying about the fact that the owners were giving the cat a bath? When the real issue is the fact the cat weighs 17 FUCKING POUNDS! The cat is probably too fat to clean its ass. Otherwise i'd say there's no reason to wash a perfectly healthy and young cat since they clean themselves.

The only cats that should be bathed are ones that like it and ones who are too fat/senile to clean themselves.

I am a Veterinary Technician, it is safe to give a cat a bath and as long as you rinse and dry them well. (Also you proper feline shampoo). Many cats who are overweight require O to bath and/or shave their hair. As for the leash around the neck, it was thick enough and it was never to tight on the cat. This is not animal abuse. In all the veterinary clinics I have worked for in the present and past a leash/collar is sometimes require. This family seems very kind and caring for their animals.

Wow it must be so nice to know everything about something. Cat owners must make you mad when they put on cat collars. They must not know to check with you, knower of all that is cat.Watching the video you see that the loop is very loose and listening you can hear the meows, not possible if the airway was cut off. Cats sometimes need help with skin problems. Owing cats does not make you an expert, it makes you an owner. Cut some slack. From this size of the cat it looks well taken care of.
