if michael beasley is potentially = to Derrick Coleman theres a lot of chance that derrick rose is potentially = to Jay Williams, both are great players with superstar potential and witch is better may result in luck, but if i was pax i would try to convince Riley that im going to pick Rose and since hes willing to trade the #2 pic if right deal came along,well no body has more young or better pieces then the bulls except maybe 4 the blazers, maybe kirk,deng& future pic 4 #2 and a bad contract

He can be that guard that creates and makes the bigs better so they can reach their potential (i.e Thomas) I like Captain Kirk, didn't care for him when we drafted him, but he proved to be quality. Dude you're an idiot, who are you ready to give up on Hinrich or Thomas? plus we still have Noah and Gooden at PF, unless Beasley(who can't defend) can play center at 6'9" you'll have 4 power forwards and a horrible PG(Hinrich), Paxson would eventually be run out of town if allows a true point guard to go to an Eastern Conference foe(Miami) in favor of a guy with "potential character issues".

Rose is a good team player but talent wise beasely is ahead of him.... doesnt matter to me who we pick as long as we dont suck this season

Wow lucky lucky, 2 years straight I wanted to get something/one from the draft and it happened (Noah & Top 3 Pick), but this is a super hard decision. Beasley could take away the pressure from the guards and go help them develop finally, Rose we will get a pure PG and we could trade Gordon and Duhon away to help get a "BIG" body in the lineup. Don't tell me Rose and Wade wouldn't be one of the best 1-2 guard combos in NBA history. Wade would get even more open shots. Then, In free agency in 2010 the Heat could have landed Bosh.
