I've heard that has been done, but it probably wasn't official. Probably animation just done by some Who fans.

@GriffithAMPS Good news - they are! It's hand-drawn by 2|entertain. The only serial confirmed yet is The Reign of Terror, but if that goes well more will follow, and eventually every lost episode for which a soundtrack still exists. Big Finish is also involved, though I don't know how.

I've seen it the animation sucked it was all choppy and it was robotic and could have been way better they should have gone with hand drawn but other then that it was a great movie
