i respect all parents that works hard and provide for their family but its not worth it if u dont enjoy having family or spent time together...they need balance between work and home..its like theyre ditchin their kids, throw them in front of tv so they wont bug the parent...theres no fun goin on, they dont even comunicate...the way dad says " yea i miss the family alot" very dead tone of voice...no emotions, i think they care tho but abit blind maybe and neglect in a way too...sad..

Downs kids usually have poor verbal skills. I've worked with a fair number of them. Something that's good to do is teach them 'Signs for Speech'. It's a very simple form of sign language

What sort of mother lets her young children watch television for FOUR HOURS? I'm so glad that my mother read to me, toke me to the park, the library, the museum, played games and did crafts and helped me to learn what I needed to learn. This mom is so lazy. It's okay to play video games and watch television but only for a short amount of time. Being a mother isn't just doing what you want- it's actually taking care of the children completely.

It looks like the way I grew up. We didn't have a computer back then, but I was watching TV all the time. It was my babysitter. My mom was a working single mom, but I never got bored of TV, even though we only had 1 and then 2 channels. I'm still addicted.
