The point is when people see the rediculous presentation of "news" on a channel such as MSNBC they learn how skewed it is, which leads them to a more balanced approach like Fox. Correct. Higher ratings does not make one right. It means that your show is popular. IF one were to have show in which one provided news analysis and opinion, AND that show were to consistently beat the pants off of a competitior's show offering news analysis and opinion though, conclusions regarding the content could be drawn. For instance, one could conclude that the higher rated show has analysis/opinions presented fairly, and perhaps the analysis/opinions with which viewers agree.
