i havent played 2k since 06 or 07 but i do remember the create a player is less in depth when it comes to skills, but it covers the basics...never ask which game is better, everyone is so biased youll never get a good answer, just rent both and see for yourself , both games come out in a day.

you cant do any of that unfortunately...pretty much every good team you can think of is in the game with the exception of New Zealand, Lebanon, and Israel...

thanks. well thats sucks because thats the only reason i want to get live, i guess i have to get 2k9 then. when you create a player in 2k, do you get to do the player ratings aswell? like dunks, freethrow, speed, strenght..etc.? are there a lot of animations like if you win the finals you see the players celebrating and all that? is 2k really good? because i haven't played any bball game since carmelo was in the cover of live.
