Not really any difference except the 3G (T-Mobile's 3G blows) and the GPS. Unless you really need that (which you still can't download stuff like you can on a Windows Mobile phone) then 3G just for browsing isn't needed IMHO. The LX would do just fine imo. Unless you wanna be the guy with the latest stuff.

It's not just the 3G and the GPS that's different from the other T-Mobile Sidekicks. It also, has long video recording, it plays videos on the internet, the quality is great, the sound on the phone is loud and many more advantages. But, you right if you don't really care about those things the Sidekick Lx 07 is good enough.

Sidekick Slide is kinda messed up, because service or internet is always going out. But more than half the time calls and text work. Also AIM is better on the Slide.

I would get the sidekick 3. It has the famous swivel screen (if that's what u like), and the sounds it makes r better than this one. The only thing is, the sidekick slide's screen is much more brighter than the sidekick 3

you have to have the sidekick plan to connect to the internet. which is probably why it doesnt work. aim and email need the internet. the sidekick plan is $20 a month

I just bought the Slide. I like it better than the LX. The keys look like they'll last longer... The phone is smaller... And it SLIDES up (I like that better... lol). I don't care about video recording... :/ It sucks on phones anyway (even on the LX, my best friend has it). And the camera is pretty much the same quality. I say get the slide... Also, the phone gets better reception :)

this can easily beat the LX cause of its mini size, which makes it easier to hold, and you really dont need to much features on a sidekick. i think danger overdid the lx. slide is perfect, right size, and about $100 cheaper than the LX. i preffer it
