  • I don't think people realize how great this game was (still is).

  • This game made me want to become a police officer, who pulls over hot chicks in convertibles

  • The 80's ruled!

  • I don't understand why they can't make a game like this nowadays using gta's engine. But make it an actual action "adventure". A mix of both with more mature themes not some gangster. I was excited for la noire but they made it into a one trick pony and focused the entire game on interrogation? wtf is that. Where's the crime solving. this basically was an open world game before there were open world games. you drive from location to location. then they made swat which totally sucked.

  • 1:08 did he just snap that guy's dick off?

  • woooh! Nostalgia!

  • i would love if they remade this with la noire graphics

  • I fuckin' loved this game when I was a kid

  • Strange, Helen Hots' eyes are black, and her hair is blue, but according to her id it should be the other way around...

  • 202 Gyrate Ct? Seriously?

  • ahh i remember finger popping bitch! screw proedures!!

  • It was pretty hard to finish this game being 10, not having internet and not having english as a first language. "Administer field sobriety test"? "Drink java"? "Pigeon hole"? This silly walk around the car before driving off. Man it took me ages before i knew what 'saving the game' was... so many carcrashes. "Book him"? "Dial 411" wtf is 411... anyway somehow I finished it.. 20 years ago...

  • Such an amazing game. Remember the cheat books that required a special highlighter to reveal the tips? Who else got stuck trying to perform the "Sobriety test" on that drunk driver.... like I frakkin knew what sobriety meant in 1987 at the age of 8!

  • Can i download this ?

  • Anyone notice that the playable officer is just a sprite of Larry but recolored and very slightly edited?

    That strut don't lie.

  • Helen Hots must be pretty old now..

  • wow i used to play this at my uncles house when i was like 10 haha on his busted up tandy computer...killed so much time!!

  • I used to have this for my IIGS, and it was one of the best games ever made. I would say more but Capt. Whipplestick might yell at me for not using proper radio procedures...

  • thsi game ruled

  • I've never heard of it, but it looks awesome.

  • Yeah it was a great series till they had Darrel Gates take over it then

  • Police Quest 4 was good.

  • Police Quest SWAT 1 and 2, on the other hand...

  • SWAT 2 was actually pretty good. I liked SWAT 1, but I know that isn't a popular opinion.

  • haha omg i forgot all about this game i had police quest 4 and all the version before that one

i know how much you needed to type pff

    thank god i had manuals

  • Helen Hots is 43 now... gross lol

  • i bet she's still a hottie

  • bet you she's not

  • @ratix98

    MILF !!!!!!!!!!!

  • @RoseberryC Women are like a fine wine. Helen Hots would be strong, bitter and would go well with red meat.

  • I wish I had this early version, I only have the later one. If anyone knows where I can get this freeware, hook me up please.

  • sonny bonds :D Ftw

  • The driving was my favorite part of this game!

  • The best was on the Apple IIgs. The music sounded better than in the dos version.

  • it always said game over for me if id take my clothes off in the shower, lmao

  • You gotta take em off when you open your locker lol.

  • Haha! Police Quest! Rock--- Man, that game was so awesome for its time.

  • I bought this game the collection thing and only the 4th one works. The 1st 2nd and 3rd police quest said "Out of Range" what does that mean?

  • how old is this collection thing? because if its like that larry collection of 1,2,3,5, and 6 it was made for MS dos. so if you tried running the stuff on today's computers you are going to have to get dosbox to play them. or use a really old ass computer to play the games.

  • @ratix98 it should work fine on windows xp or older, so thats not that old besides if you wanted to run freedos to play it you can use any computer with a floppy drive

  • @StanleyStank Install ScummVM, it can play them natively on modern versions of Windows with no problems. Or install DOSbox and run them in that.

  • Huh, my copy of PQ only had PC speaker music and sounds... which really sounded more like a touchtone phone than music and sound

  • Protip: run any old Sierra AGI game under dosbox in Tandy mode.

  • Tandy.. wow I remember those. I remember the HP's/Compaqs of those days too: Packard Bells. Back way when things were "IBM compatible"

  • ratix98: I have the entire Police Quest collection PQ1-PQ4 and SWAT..Is their a way to make it play on WindowsXP?

  • if they are MS-dos games grab DOSBOX from sourceforge. its handled pretty well and its simple to set up. send a message if you can't get it to work right.

  • Ok. I'll do that.

  • I hear the King's Quest 3 theme.

  • Where was this demopack included? In some magazine?

  • i think it was with their magazine they sent out every so often

  • did you ever type "Look at hooker" in LSL1?

  • The girls and the graphics in general look a lot like the original Leisure Suit Larry.
