Kim Wilson is awesome I met him after a Thunderbirds show In New Braunfels TX and he was more than cool. He even signed my ticket stub and took a picture with me.
Jimmie Vaughan left the band to play in a duo with his brother Stevie Ray Vaughan; following Stevie Ray's death in 1990, Jimmie pursued a full-time solo career. The Fabulous Thunderbirds replaced Vaughan with two guitarists, Duke Robillard and Kid Bangham.
I'm a big Thunderbirds fan and LOVE this video! Am also a huge car freak and love the gorgeous ones shown in this video ~ however i can't identify the dark blue late 30's - looking sedan. Anyone know??
this is one instance where the original is NOT better then the remake. it does however explain why he says to put your lovin in my box. haha. didnt he catch that? only woman have "boxes" in which lovin can be placed into. unless.......nevermind. haha
The original Eurythmics version of this song doesn't sound like Evil Ways at all. It's very, very poppy. This version pretty true to it, but the instrumentation is totally different, so I believe that any similarity is completely coincidental.
The original Eurythmics version? The song was recorded by Sam & Dave in 1968. I dare say the Fabulous Thunderbirds were influenced by that version, rather than the Eurythmics one.
now you know in the 80s all the girls in this vidieo had a nice bush on them, none of that bald shaved toddler look of today. Hair on it like a women should!
I can see from your favorite videos that this bush issue is very important to you. But for fucks sake you don't need to go around to random music videos and talk about pubic hair preferences, its out of place, and you aren't going to alter anyone's opinion one way or another.
The other thing I've never understood about pro-bush marauders like you is why a hairless snatch is "disgusting", and "toddler-like", but shaving armpits, legs, et cetra is not, its the same removal of adult body hair in places that get hair during puberty.
My 23 dollars from Canada make me not count? What the fuck does that mean? The Americans who think that Canadians don't count are always the same ones who can't string together a sentence that makes any sense.
Also, despite being half your age I'm hardly nothing, I guarantee I make far more per hour than you do or ever will, and that once I finish the last few years of my University degree it will be even more.
Neither age nor money has anything to do with it. Only through the acquisition of an University degree, can one obtain the true knowledge of maintaining a healthy bush!
Lovin' the stylings of TFT and Jimmie Vaughan. What a shame that Stevie, his brother died in that helicopter crash. Most tragically it seems to have stifled Jimmie who although rich through sudden inheritance is now most reknown as an object of pity. He did change his style from pick to fingers although his fire, the direction, his voice has evaporated. You'll find him at the car show. Jimmie did get Stevie into music. Jimmie is not responsible by association for Stevie's death. Tuff Enuff

@sethan122 this generation is being led to the slaughter...this generation is influencing the next...that doesn't bode well unless you're a fat cat in a suit and tie with a big CEO on your name plate

Look what it, by and large, is into, by and large.
Even in a political sense, far too many of them are so faux-political that they essentially are quite apolitical and yet, very self-righteously, arrogantly, and presumptively, think that their opinion is beyond undeniably superior to those in apparent contrast to it.
And, that is just part of the similar, interrelated picture at large.
@sethan122 Agreed, I'm so glad I grew up listening to my dad's 80s/oldies music. So much better then all this rap/hip-hop shit that seems to be everywhere.
@sethan122 I had a young person ask me the other day, "What did Eighties Kids really listen to?" Well, let me put it in writing: we listened to great music like this. I bought this tape (!!!) in about 1987 or so and wore it out with listens (the entire album is fantastic). Always remember that this is a terrific cover of a Sam and Dave classic from 1968.
A girl did cover it. Annie Lennox sang this song when she was in Eurythmics. She did a really good job of it too, but it would have been even better with a sound closer to the one from Would I Lie To You.
Looks like Jimmie borrowed one of Tommy or Chris Laytons suits for this vid? Looks like their suits from Stevie's Carnegie gig? Wouldn't mind being the blonde in this vid. Corr!! Jimmies Hot.
I saw this group perform right after this alblum was released at a nightclub in San Jose, The Caberet. It was Thursday night and there were maybe 50 people there. They put on a fantastic show regardless. I talked to the nightclub owner and he said they had been paid cash up front.
