this is NOT a real hula bike, I was just at the park with the inventor of the trademarked hula bike. This is just lame and not like the real hula bike which has an extra joint in between the seat and handlebar, the real hula bike is much cooler

great idea! there was a guy in brazil that has a very similar project, but this one is much better executed. in the brazilian project the frame is much heavier and the rear wheel is made of wood!!!
So... was this the product of trying to build a wheel without a truing stand? ;-)
