  • I love ADORAMATV and I love Mark Wallace, hope next year, you'll be able to go to the Philippines... :D

  • Best video ever!

  • Where is episode 76...???

I'm not able to find it here. :(

  • amazing tricks.. by the way like those behind the scans..

  • Congratulations this serie is fantastic, but i have one question what's happining with the episodes 76 to 200? because i dont find in internet, also in your web.

    Very good

  • @fernandomaiadacunha Same question here. Was really having a good time watching these each night trying to get caught up.

  • @hibbledor @fernandomaiadacunha @DAVAIO - Episode 75 was the final episode of Season 1. Season 2 picks up at Episode 201! You're not missing any between there :) Thanks for watching!

  • @adoramaTV AHHH! Thank you so much! That makes a lot of sense. I was going nuts trying to figure out where the other episodes went. =) I'll keep watching. Best photography series on youtube!

  • why can't i find 'Digital Photography 1 on 1 episode 76'??

  • Noob question - do you re-focus everytime you pan across before clicking for a new frame? Thanks.

  • wooow!!!

  • mark,

one of the best simplied "how to's" in a long time. The attention to details made it simple. (Often your experience shows by glossing over some of the simple stuff, but for beginners, missing the simple stuff prevents success. Love the BTS bloopers.

Maybe 2 series are in order - Beginners, Photography One on One, and Advanced Photography One on One.

    everyone gets covered that way.

  • Amazing job Mark well done!!! God bless you and to your up coming episode.

  • Where Do i post my photos...?

  • Hey Mark. I think your series is extremely useful. It's always easier to criticize than to contribute as you do. If these experts were such, they would not be watching your videos. Thanks for this series!

  • Help me please, at 10:00, my photo just can't delete all the "lines" like the previous version of the panorama photo, when Photoshop didn't blended and masked the photo :(.

  • One of the best 1on1 episodes. Really a great guide,

  • @adoramaTV at what point would you normally flatten the image, you said you would normally not do that then. Great Videos... Thanks.

  • I have a question..... why was 1/50th at f/16 too slow a shutter speed on a tripod? Why give up depth of field when camera shake at low shutter speeds is not a concern?

  • finally, links to products!

  • Thanks for the vid. Now let me go out and get me some L bracket

  • plz keep doing these behind the scenes

  • This is the first time I have to disagree with what Mark says..

Like dblclick wrote, use the nodal point, not the censor...

And using a lens that wide angled, (I would never..)

I would run the photos through Camera Raw and apply "Lens Correction" profile..

rather than just opening them from Bridge..

  • @hgurskov

oh... and I use this.. (no web links allowed??) Really Right Stuff, and goto "Panoramas Made Simple"

  • what are some good budget solutions that you can merge the images with all the control that you have in CS5.5 because my budget docent have room for CS5.5. Thx for the wonderful vids keep them coming

  • @noha12011

    look on the web for:

    Gimp, it's free...

    and get the plugin:

    pandora from shallowsky....

  • @RunOrDie226911 you just match up about a tenth or so of the frame up with the previous and it should work just as well.

  • I was told the best way to shoot panoramic shots to rotate the camera on the nodal point. This will yield the best results.

  • that was just amazing.. looks so simple..

  • 1.- Buy a Sony

    2.- Turn it On

3.- Usea iSweep Panorama, stiches a 42.3 Megapixel Photo.

    4.- Done

  • Thx for teaching about photomerge in PS. Wasnt sure how to use it.

  • Thank's for the verticle advice.

  • haha the bloopers were fun, more of this!

  • What if i dont have a tripod that shows me how many degrees, what should i do?

  • I also prefer Hugin for fast panoramas.

  • happosade.kapsi.fi/rama/

You asked for panoramas. There you go. :D

  • 16:45 hahahahahahahahahahaha

  • Mark, put on a hat dude! And some sun screen. I've had a skin cancer removed, you don't want to go through that!

  • You missed a few thinks,

    - no lens hood to eliminate the flares

    - not alined in center of the sensor instead in center of the camera

    - not switched to manual focus (I've clearly heared the beep)

    - not coverd the viewfinder to prevent "backsun" or switched to live view...

The most clients of adorama are professionals - so you may show every little bit to get a 'professional' panorama, not just a quick'n'dirty holiday panorama, should'nt you?

  • @EdwardBlack I would agree with the final statement but most "pros" are the majority of the audience of tips and tricks videos. have you been watching and taking notes on the questions mark and his team are answering? It's mostly beginner type questions, not questions pros would be asking. videos like these are geared to all audiences. if you want audience specific to the pros, then the kelby seminars would be the videos to watch. mark and his team are doing just fine

  • @EdwardBlack I'm not even going to watch the video. Lol. 16 mins and it didn't cover the things you mentioned in your comment? That's terrible!

  • Mark, thanks for another great PS tutorial!

  • Before you cropped you could have also used content aware to fill in the missing spots.

  • @Spade193 I agree~

  • Hello Mark, thanks for this interesting video. I want to make you 2 questions.

    1. Why do not you use a lens hood to eliminate the flare?

    2. Why did you align the axis of rotation of the camera to the axis of rotation of the CMOS sensor? It would not be more correct to align the rotation axis with the focal point of the lens?

    Thanks.

  • Hey Mark, great video! Learned a lot about panoramas...But I just had a composition question. I was wondering why you didn't perfectly center the photo right at the stairs

and then shoot around it? Was the angle intentional?
