  • @Trisomy13 when u opened the seal inside did u open it all the way? If u did then that was your problem. What I do is I cut an X on the seal. That way the glue on the outside of the seal stays intact and less of the juice will leak out. Gulp Alive Minnows always work for me btw.

  • to all those who posted reviews and and saved people trouble, thank you!

  • Very informative. Well spoken and clear. Good Video.

  • Used this garbage today with ZERO effect. Switched to live worms and caught my limit.

  • @vernaculos were you trout fishing?

  • i have problems with my gulp packets! The damn packets won't seal so i have to use rubber bands to try and seal them but the liquid slowly dry out and the lures harden so they are no good anymore! I feel like complaining to the company because they charge so much for a crappy product that can't even seal properly!

But they do catch me plenty of bream and flatties!

  • Gulp is a waste of time they charge to much and for some reason the first ones to come out work and now they dont whats up? oh yer LOWER THE FREAKING PRICE YOU BUNCH OF MONEY GRUBBERS.. 5 SHADS per packet FOR 20 BUCKS IS A JOKE!

  • same here

  • @Trisomy13 dude u have said every thing thats happened to me well said i also think this stuff is crap!

  • pro-cure ftw

  • is that black shad or smelt

  • do they work for bass if so whats the rig??? PLEASE HELP!!

  • @chevynatoor i guess cause i bought a pint of chartreuse shad split tail and took it with me to do some walleye fishing and caught a smallmouth bass instead...lol. all my brothers were using live minnows and i was the only one using gulp alive and guess what.....? i caught the first fish. oh and the containers that it comes with it suck cause they leak.

  • the containers do leak, but they do catch fish thats for sure

  • i work for berkly. i no. these barkly work in some areas of fisihng. the way these were invented. was a employ worker was eating pizza one day and he pourd some garlic sauce on his pizza but some of the garlic sauce spilled in his tacle box next to him adnd he had his bait bag open. he stil used the bait even with the garlic butter on it and he some how saw good improvements on it an d thts how gulp alive was made.

  • Do these stuff work...I mean work work really good...just want to know...And do they have these stuff in fresno...

  • @xatoayang - Yes but make sure you're getting the right bait for the right fish for maximum potential. These baits do work, I use the Alive shrimp and jerk shads for most of my inshore fishing and have great success majority of the time. But even this is one of the better artificial baits to use, catching a nice fish can be done with any kind of lure/bait, all depends on presentation of your bait and your technique

  • i had use it in sea only 1 catch :( and not so big 200g

  • @aviisback how did you rig it???

  • @chevynatoor

    hmmm like this

    -------line-----swivel-40g flaot-swivel---------------1m line-swivel+ehad cahnge

    that it

but still only 200g grupper was catch with this till this day!!!

its not so working here i want to try the x-140 but i am not sure if it good as they say

  • Also, when you run out of the minnows, you can keep the "juice", and soak some other lures or plastics in it. I like to do this with the 10 inch power worms.. About a day before you go fishing, put them in the "juice" and just let em soak..

  • yea thats wat i do

  • You not that great at fishing if you don't know how to rig it

  • Does this sell in singapore ??

  • The baits are made from a biodegradable material. The "juice" they are stored in has attractants in it and that liquid is soaked into the baits and dispersed in the water. What these item are actually made from I can not tell you ... you may need to contact the manufacturer for that information. All I know is that these WORK!!

  • hey do0 the minows work well for bass? if so how would i rig it

  • ok i have aquestion lol

i saw that and think to order from ebay but what i want to understand is dose the fish are real or only the water there in made from fish ?

    thx you

  • yesterday my father took me in kansas and we used the little minnow. my dad hooked a 9 pound walleye and we slayed the bluegill, crappie and even the catfish

  • is there anyone Fr Canada thats had GL with this bate on Walleye if so what brands of the bate?

  • i wonder what happens when u dip worms in that alive juice lol

  • can u get it at walmart

  • nuclear chickens or the bbq chicken in the 5inch jerkshad are dynamite down here in new zealand .

  • hey buddy, i was just wondering what they are dynamite on? not beign a smart arse i sjtu wnna see what ppl are catching in 'our' waters. i smashed a few snapper and some kings with em. my vids are under chris micallef. yeha jsut gimme a buzz back. thansk mate

  • yeh mate snapper , kingfish , gurnard , trevally , terakihi , john dory , kahawai just about everything that swims down here will eat them . my next trick is to try out the 7" on bluenose and hapuku .

  • they dont sell them here :(

  • i got those same soft plastics they work well in Australia

  • DUDE IN AUSTRALIA THERE ARE NO LOW LIFE PEOPLE WHO FUCK UP THE FISHING SPORT BY CATCHING THE FISH OVER THE LIMIT AND SMALLER THAN THE SIZE. in california THERE ARE BUNCH OF LOW LIFE PEOPLE WHO DO ACTUALL DO ALL OF THESE negetive FACTS THAWT I MENTIONED.

  • i spose u r right r u from california

  • Try the 5 inch jerk shad that gulp makes for stripers. Its in the saltwater packaging but i snap jig them for walleyes and salmon.

  • -- Berkley GULP is USA's main export. GREAT bait , IN E.Europe people are amazed by BERKLEY Gulp bait and Series one Skeletor rods. YOUR goverment is crazy I guess Fiherman are not.

  • do you think these lures 3" minnows would work good for striped bass in saltwater?? please respond thanks

  • Berkley do a range of saltwater Gulp Alive lures that might be better for stripers. If you wanted to use the minnow in the video go for the 4" instead for striped bass.

  • thanks

  • nahh mate im aussie

    yehh there called flathead

    sorry mate

  • gulp alive

me and my m8 were fishin at the brigde jusp up the street

    got 4 flattie 2 each

    was heaps sick mate

  • KBrazza, you sound english-am i rigt? where do you live(so i can catch the flatfish)

  • Is the liquid scent the same liquid scent used in the packets of gulp Jerk Shads for example? Cause I would like to get more of that juice for my packets of Jerk Shads and I'm thinking of buying a tub of the Gulp Alive not for the softies but for the juice. If it is the same stuff that is????? Dam packets just leak everywhere and yes I am sealing them up properly. My Berkley Powerbait wallet is stinkin of the stuff.

  • I think your best bet there would be to use the Gulp! Alive that comes in the spray bottle. That's good for keeping the packets moistened.

  • @SJB666 - You should do what I do and take your packets n put the bait in the bucket bcz if the bait in a Gulp packet sits too long it may deform, but in the bucket your bait moves freely and absorbs more as it sits between fishing days

  • WEEWOO

  • OOOhh Man This Berkley Gulp Alive + Uglystik Rod 6'5"+ Fireline 8 lbs Is Awesome Doods!!!

  • This Stuff does work.

A couple of days ago i caught two "slot reds" in about 45minutes using a 3" new penny shrimp with a light jighead under a popping cork.

    27 1/4in.

    22 1/2in.
