Nope, that didn't happen until January 2002, and Bob was still hosting at the time. The $2,000 cash award, one of the three "Lose Everything", and one of the three pairs of items were all taken out.
The music used for the Ford Focus contains the MDS music and almost became the TPIR theme years back, championed by Syd Vinnedge, but Roger stopped that from happening.
Another one of my favorite pricing games! Also, I am glad that in January of 2002 that the rules in this game were changed so that the contestant get one of the picks for free because I think it is kind of mean that the contestant has to earn all three picks.
Why doesn't the announcer today don't mention the products name.

Wow, they made it so obvious which items needed a dollar added to it... 29 Cents for mustard? I think not

Kinda disappointing the remaining numbers weren't revealed. I'm surprised Bob let that slip by, being a brand new game and all.

Yeah, I remember watching this re-airing; they edited out the portion where Bob said that they were going to play a "brand-new game".

Format is different back then. Today they only price two products and have options 6 choices, correct?
dab423 3 years ago
Yes, and you get one pick off the board for free while you have earn the other two yourself.
