there was no solid reason, but apparently the lost viewer, from 2.6 miilion to 1.1 million i guess.. but many said they lost viewers because they didnt advertise properly and the show time..

the ratings and viewers went down post season 2 and now they are replacing kyle xy with some other main stream tv series with no moral values (like the teenage life)

honestly, its one of abc's worst decisions considering its their fault for the decrease in viewers because they decide its a good idea to first make ten episodes AND THEN A YEAR A LATER actually show them. whoever was behind that decision shouldn't even be allowed to choose what to have for breakfast.

I think they might decide to put some more episodes in because when josh hugged his dad it must of been because of Andy and so they have to do one were she comes back. Plus i cant believe they would put Kyle and jesse together. Kyle and amanda were like the perfect couple. I hope Andy says yes even though i think she will say no. I hope they dont end kyle xy. It is my favorite show ever.

I've only heard that Kylanda reunite in the series finale. I never heard that kyle starts to fall for Jessi or pretends she's dead or that he hasn't made a decision by the end. That would be dumb. It's the end of the series. Leaving cliff hangers that would never be solved would just piss fans off. I'd rather Kyle make a decision. and as much as i'd like for it to be Jessi, I believe the people (who've read the spoilers) who say that Kylanda will reunite in the series finale :(

but "Kyle XY" didn't know it was going to be the series finale when they filmed it. I know its going to end on a big cliffhanger. I think the spoiler about Kylanda reuniting that you heard was wrong, i'm a Kylanda fan and i wish it was true. But i'm almost positive it isn't.

they could have done refilming to end it the way they want though. Shows often do that when they're suddenly cancelled. I never read the spoilers I'm just going by what I heard. Some fans have read the episode description for the series finale. I'm not saying it's 100% but I think it's the most likely ending. A stupid cliffhanger is also likely - wouldn't be the first time a cancelled show left things in the air so that they could continue just in case they were ever picked up again...

I'm not saying anything about how it's going to go one way or another but keep in mind that it costs money to re-shoot an already filmed finale. It would be nice if things got wrapped up but I wouldn't count on it seeing as money is a primary reason they are being canceled in the first place. I've read some spoilers and, sadly, I do think there is going to be a cliffy. :( But as you said, I don't think it's impossible that another network couldn't pick it up so we'll just have to wait and see.
