A couple of the friends my 25-year-old son grew up with are now "cable guys". They aren't crazy about their jobs, but it provides an income. Surprisingly, it doesn't take a great deal of training to become one. They always have some kind of story to tell. Anything goes. Nothing shocks them. I'm sure it's the same with the cable technicians in your area.
