  • Wow that's a good idea for intubation where an airway would be difficult to establish due to facial trauma...

  • can you give me an example when this would be usefull? it looks kinda cool tho

  • @Jamknowsyou , this would be useful in a situation in which, lets say, there is severe facial trauma such as getting smacked in the face with say a metal i-beam and you can't do a normal intubation due to the face and neck trauma and you need to get a tube in and you either can't do a tracheotomy and need some way to secure the airway, this is how you would do it if it is available in the protocols and area.

    hope this helps

  • @tkddude06 thank you!

  • paramedics in Maine can do this

  • That would be a great tool. In just a quick thought I can recollect 3 times where this would have been wonderful. Paramedics should have this tool available.

  • Is it available as a special set? Will it be harmful to pass ETT over the guidewire if the set is not available locally?

  • very good!

  • Cool!

  • THIS IS THE BETTER GUIDE.
