@Jamknowsyou , this would be useful in a situation in which, lets say, there is severe facial trauma such as getting smacked in the face with say a metal i-beam and you can't do a normal intubation due to the face and neck trauma and you need to get a tube in and you either can't do a tracheotomy and need some way to secure the airway, this is how you would do it if it is available in the protocols and area.
That would be a great tool. In just a quick thought I can recollect 3 times where this would have been wonderful. Paramedics should have this tool available.
Wow that's a good idea for intubation where an airway would be difficult to establish due to facial trauma...

Is it available as a special set? Will it be harmful to pass ETT over the guidewire if the set is not available locally?
