@GBAPCLAN - i just wacthed the european version and it s in colour. I really liked it and enjoyed seeing all the colours of LA, although would also like to check out the American B and W version too. It would surely be a completely different film and probably a better one in some ways. The cams they used (Z1's i think) look better when the footage is thrown into b and w in the edit, cuz in all honesty they re not the best cameras. But this film is about so much more than tech specs. great film

Hey, that's not true! I've already seen it and the whole film is in b&w! The director Alex Holdridge says that he wanted to make it in b&w to recall some vintage 50ties/60ties movies. And he certainly did create that atmosphere. Some critics compare it to Woddy Allen's "Manhattan"...

I must say, this movie was very impressive. Some people criticize it too much but I thought the story was played out quite well. Not to mention only 4 main characters? I envy them for making a movie like this with that many people.
