Don't use melee? Hunters, They are built for both, Close and long range combat, When your pet can't hold the aggro, The enemy will come into close range, Where you need melee.

Not bad, spiders are cunning pets tho, which is used pvp because of it's cc's

Also ferocity is used for dungeon dos, and tenacity is used for questing, a hunter's should never tank a dungeon (unless a low level one, but anybody can tank them with boa, and it I bad practice)

cunning pets are mainly for pvp so to say they have no pro's probably means you arent using it right. the spider is a perfect example of this, its not the most powerful and not the best at tanking, but what it lacks it can certainly make up for in pvp, the web is a very useful thing to have for dealing with melee classes. if they get close just web them and get to max range again :p

In your Spellbook, and under the tag on the RIGHT side that says something like 'beasts' or 'pets', there is a button called 'Revive Pet'. You can drag this to your toolbar if you want to use it easily. Otherwise, Spellbook, pet tag, Revive Pet. :)

Dude, you have no idea how to play a hunter, your best plan is to delete the hunter you have quiet WoW and go play Hello Kitty.

1: Tenacity Pets is for tanking ONLY

2: Ferocity Pets is for dps ONLY

3:Cunning Pets is made for PVP.

I still have a quesiton for you: I have a cunning pet, but I use it for dungeons because its ability increases magic damage taken to enemies. Is that okay? I'm considering having another cunning pet. Also, I use my Ferocity for normal dungeon enemies, cunning pet for bosses. I use tenacity for outside or offtank in dungeons. Am I using the pets correctly?

@rjsny350 - Sorry it took me a bit to get back to you.... OK, using cunning pets in a dungeon only hurts the party, here's why.

1: It will affect your DPS in a dungeon... As a hunter, the only thing you need to worry about is how much DPS you can put out, MD to tank so you don't pull aggro, and trap when needed..... Don't worry so much about helping with magic damage increases, if a spell caster has low dps... then there is something wrong with the spell caster.

@rjsny350 - 2: Use a Ferocity pet for the whole dungeon, (yes even for bosses) to keep your DPS up. Also how you spec your pet in his tree matters as well... Now if your looking for a combo pet that will dps and do other stuff, their is Ferocity pets that do.

@rjsny350 - EXP: Spirit Beasts, can dps and give a bit of heal, any healing is a plus in dungeons. Or Core Hounds, if you don't have anyone in the party that can cast hero or equivalent, It's version is very handy. Or Wolf to give all raid/party a 5% boost in crit... and my fave, the Cat, gives party/raid a boost in STR and AGI........ This will make you very valuable to a party or raid.

Keep cunning to PvP, or Solo if you just wanna have fun lol.

I would like to play Wow, but I'm concerned about the money you have to pay each month. I have seen comments of people who say it isn't that much and it's really worth it....but if I'd pay with...say pre-paid game cards, I can play for 60 days. The thing that stops me is that days when you don't log on and play also count...so if I chose to play a few days a month, the other days is sort of money thrown away. Any comments on this please? What's your opinion?

Ya, that's how I felt when I first joined WoW, but now it doesn't bother me. If you only plan on playing a few days a month then WoW might not be the game for you, it requires constant attention once you hit 80 and begin raiding. Have you tried the 10 day free trial yet? You can use that to see if you like the game or not before you pay for a month. Or just pay for a month then see how it turns out, if your an addict by the end then maybe it is worth the 15 bucks.

But I woudln't want it to become an addiction since I still study and wouldn't like to see my studies fail because of a game. @lagoondiver as selaron1000 has said, you may want to try a 10 day free trial befor anyting else, people get started on the game in diff ways, for me, i messe about on my bross acount way back befor the 2 expansions (messing about as in running around killing things) and that made me get my own account, so it is worth it if you enjoy it and want to play a fair bit

@lagoondiver if you dont have money play private servers. there are a few good ones similar to retail wow but obviously youre not getting the same experience. private servers have lots of bugs and glitches and expansions come out much later. basically you get what u pay for, but if ur a casual player short of money try those out

(Usually located right in front of the outside of inns) Buy one Extra slot from the stable master for 5 silver, With that you may simply drag Pets from Current to Stabled. Or stabled to Current.. Once you have a pet you would like to keep talk to the stable master.
