  • Que buen temaaaa!! este tipo salio muy bien de ese utero!! :D

  • I totally blew him when I found out he was George Harrison's son

  • @chicagosbackbone I know right? And Dhani looks so much like him, it's like holy mother of god, come here Dhannerz ;)

  • @chicagosbackbone You sucked his cock?

  • Love this song

  • This song makes me think like you're watching your pain play like a video in front you but you're detached from it. so cool

  • Guys just calm the fuck down.

Anyways, I just love Dhani and Oli's songs. They're so free-flowing.

  • Dhani had the actual idea for Rock Band which is partially why some songs of his got in the games

  • George would be rolling over in his grave

  • @TopTenCrew why do u say that one EVERY SINGLE newno2 vid??? how do u know what george would like or not? i think he would be pretty proud, but's thats just my guess.

  • @AmonCOCO oh, HIM again? If he doesn't like the band, why does he watch all of their videos? What a weirdo.

  • @moonlily1 i know right!

  • @TopTenCrew

I doubt it...he may not think too much of the song - but he'd probably be happy his son wants to have a go in music...the Beatles were just having a go when they did the My Bonnie sessions with Tony Sheridan don't forget!

  • anyone else notice this kinda sounds like When the Levee Breaks by Zeppelin?

  • @jowensteve92 Are you referring to Zeppelin? Come on, you can tell me. Are you high?: )

  • cough, takes more, cough, than genetics, cough cough.

  • wow. amazing? sounds so much like george! <3

  • SWAAAAEEEEATTT!

  • that girl really did make me cry...

  • Comment removed

  • He sounds like his Dad but in his own way beautiful.!

  • depression is awesome with this song

  • his voice is the same as George's

    mind blown

  • YES

  • Sound too much like his dad? What a compliment!! A chip off the old block, oh Yea. Dhani is making his own way, and I'm listening!

  • Sounds too much like his dad.

  • Introduced to me by my brother.. nice find!

  • I have this album.I listen to it every day :) :) :)

  • wow i love to chill this song

  • 'That girl wants to make you cry...' Like, who the hell would dump HIM?

  • @moonlily1 I sure wouldnt. My sister met him.And fainted. Her friend got it on video :D

  • @ShireBaggins123 Oh, dear. How embarrassing. Are you sure your sister wasn't just faking it in hopes he'd give her mouth- to- mouth? Can't blame a gal for trying!

I hope he handled it ok- it must be very awkward for him when people geek out like that.

  • @moonlily1 She wasnt faking. I've seen her fake and that wasnt what it looked like.

Although...I probably would have faked. Because I'd geek out like that.

  • @ShireBaggins123 I don't think I'd have the ladyballs to appraoch him in the first place, but if I met him in some natural circmstance, I think I'd be pretty normal, if a bit shy and awkward. Was joking about the faking though.

  • I don't think their music receive the publicity it deserves...On the other hand, maybe it's the kind that is "hard to swallow".Dhani's vocals are awesome, lyrics are awesome, this song (like all of their songs?)has a little eerie feeling

  • sounds just like george! love it

  • I am really glad that Rock Band 2 introduced me to this song! Thenewno2 is great, but this song is incredible!

  • It's amazing how much he looks and sounds like him. And not even just his voice. His style of singing and song writing is so much like his dad's that I almost feel like George is still putting music out.

  • when the vocal started, i honestly thought it was george!

  • this song makes feeling depressed the best feeling in the world

  • @Tyme4Cryme I agree

  • @Tyme4Cryme

    wow, that's so true.

  • @Tyme4Cryme go kill yourself

  • @rampamifi How about you log off youtube and go be a "rampamifi", or whatever the hell you name means...

  • @Tyme4Cryme easy, stop writing teen-emo shit

     have a nice day

  • @rampamifi Ill do that when you discontinue trying to troll my comment trying to get thumbs, which you oh-so failed at doing. And since when was the feeling of depression a "teen-emo" thing? It a serious condition that shouldnt be considered some teen trend, you buttnugget. And of course, others felt the same way as I have 9 others agreeing. TYME4CRYME = 1 RAMPAMIFI = 0

  • @Tyme4Cryme yes u won, now ill became an emo, so i ll be able to penetrate u. check u dont have a thumb in yor ass

  • @rampamifi Sir please, get a life...*future comments ignored*

  • Looks like him. Sounds like him. George would definitely be proud.

  • Makes me feel kinda high XD

  • Soooooooooo Chill, Love it.

  • He could be George's son, and I bet that we will hear a lot of that, his music and creations are really good, it's outstanding. There's no doubt that he can make it on his own without a need of being a Beatles' relative

  • @vquarleri he is george's son

  • @thebeatles2341 Yes I know, I was just expressing my idea that, eventhough he is george's son, he can make it on his own.. Thanks thoug

  • @vquarleri oh sorry man

  • He could be George's son, and I bet that we will hear a lot of that, his music and creations are really good, it's outstanding. There's no doubt that he can make it on his own without a need of being a Beatle's relative

  • dhani sounds just like his dad

  • I LOVE this! Thanks!!

  • I think I'm in love...

  • I think I'm in love...

  • At first downloaded the album on tpb, but I like the song and the band so much i decided to buy it. Keep up the perfection

  • Love this <3 Love Dhani<3 Dhani is mine<3 My preciousssssss XD XD XD

  • Crazy Friday.... Dhaniiiii, you are so faraway from me!!! :(

  • @AmyLeefan01 >:(

  • I dig it!

  • Dhani is George incarnate - in voice, looks and essence :))

  • Any suggestions for songs with that same kind of eerie sound to them?

  • @englishish Make sure you've checked out Another John Doe, by the same band.

  • I totally love this song and I love Dhani!! They should com out with a new album. I would so buy it!

  • I love this band!!!!!

  • um, ok, kiddos, i'm just saying, you shouldn't be proud of "learning" songs are rock band, you're not playing a real instrument.... just saying.

I learned about this band through... cosmic direction.

  • @devaom420 We have the liberty to play a game on our choosing. We are not professional players. We doing it for fun there is no burden on us to become one. If we choose to be proud of play a game which is not an instrument then it is our choice. You have no saying of what we should be proud of or not.

  • @Phanomenon well hey, it's your trip, if you choose to put more effort into a game than something productive go ahead. And you know if it's so important to you that you feel you need to stand up for it on youtube... um, well that's where you are in life, you can stick to rock band, and i'll stick to the sitar. best of luck to you... with that...

But there is a reason why there's only about three bands making good music in the world, thenewno2 being one of them. but dig whatever you want.

  • @devaom420 Well who say I don't want to play the real drums. I just don't have the time to. I'm not taking a offense but I'm a college student whose looking toward graduation. I do know what is productive and you can not make an assumption where I am in life, because I respect you enough to not make one of yours. My response is an objective one. It pertains to everyone any one who cares. Whether I'm stating it on youtube or not, there is not right or wrong place to do so.

  • George Harrison's son everybody! he's great. this is the Beatles of today, take it or leave it - it is. i don't care what criticism you have to contribute to my theory, it's totally valid.

  • yomp, another john doe and this one. amazing!!!

  • you don't "learn songs" on Rock Band. you learn songs "on Rock Band"

  • i hate new music but dani is so asome like his dad the only band i like from the 2000s

  • My son looks more like George Harrison than I do - george harrison

  • I think I'm in love...

  • awesome awesome awesome

this song is probably gonna be stuck in my head now

Dhani sounds a lot like his dad... not that that's a bad thing xD

  • Well done Dhani!

  • dhani's voice is soo seductive it pulls you in and you cant stop listening to it. <3

  • just like his dad! sounds like him! if you listen to this, and then a song such as For You Blue or I Me Mine, it is exactly the same! wow! dhani is amazing, just like geroge.

  • The Magic Tea

  • Dhani is really talented.

His band should record an album with songs written and sung by himself and julian lennon.

A bit of background help and a few bass lines and harmonies from mr macca and I think we would have a pretty cool experimental and entertaining album!!

  • You could get Zack Starkey for a drummer and then you would have 3 Beatles kids but they should never do that - they are great people in their own right - don't hang the albatross of the Beatles around their necks.

  • I wasn't hanging no albatross around anyone's neck. if you read my comment again you will see i was referring to a one off collaboration which would probably prove interesting.

These guys are artists its what they do buddy. Check out maccas fireman experiments for example.

  • i have a question i saw this band open for wolfmother in portland and i was completely blown away. except i cant find one of the songs they played that i loved. i know that he repeats the chorus though a megaphone. but the verse he doesn't. its one of the more heavier songs

  • same here. i just got their discography but it's still downloading, if i find it i'll try to let u know somehow

  • @spacemonkey742 It's "Give You Love"

    (:

  • @llama2125 thanks a ton

  • I also heard this song first time on Rockband2 and noticed it had a catchy syncopation on the bass line. Good stuff for us wannabee bassists to learn from :) Nice tune as well.

  • yeah. I was introduced to this through Rock Band as well.

I liked this song a lot when I downloaded it.

It totally blew my mind when I found out it was George Harrison's son.

  • i saw this video for the first time on a tuesday

  • omg he sounds just like his father. That is so chilling.

  • He look like him too...that does kind of send chills through you, huh?

  • OMG I NEVER NOTICED!!! You're so right.

  • @charmingasalways definitely! it's freaky...i think he sounds a bit like him too!

  • they're so GOOD! its weird how most ppl don't know them. Oh and i uploaded their song "Truly" since no one already has, its one of my favorites by them.

  • I saw them in Chicago before Wolfmother...They are pretty good! btw can somebody help me with what songs they played in Riviera theater in Chicago?

  • He's so cool!

  • Same, I saw them open for wiolfmother and they were great

    im def. a fan

  • He learned from one of the best.

  • i heard this song on rockband. i love it, its so chill

  • Listen guys, I saw them open for Wolfmother and had no clue who the band or Dhani Harrison was. So from a neutral perspective, I thought they were great. His vocals were unique and the music was just alive and refreshing.

  • same! yea i saw them last night for wolfmother, they were great

  • i dont know but out of most of the new music i think this stuff is on top

  • cool song.

  • this song is so cool and relaxing.

  • great bass!!!

  • I learn about this song through Rock Band and it definitely on of my favorite songs to play = )

  • @Phanomenon haha i just played this song on rockband and now i'm in <3 with it

  • Phanomenon @Totodilelover7291 It has such a great feel to it right?

  • @Phanomenon booo.

  • I can hear George`s voice in this vocal. Its cool, like the first time I heard Julian Lennon thinking it was John. I like that Dhani hasn`t tried to become a clone of his dad. I hope he succeeds in his musical ambitions.

  • I like this

  • Brilliant

  • Shut up haters!

This is NOT supposed to be an upbeat song, he's singing to the style of the lyrics! (worded weird, but you got my point)

  • what the hell kinda shape is their heads?!?!?!?!?!

  • Who the hell are you to talk? Some annoying critic whose opinion doesn't matter. At least he's out there trying to make something of himself. Writing music is a process and I'm sure this means something very dear to him and others who listen to it.

  • I'm a songwriter, and everyone is entitled to their opinion, even an ass-kisser like yourself.

  • Sure everyone's entitled to their opinion. I didn't put your music down. By the way, nice name calling. You're sooo the bigger person.

  • Yes, but probably only by a couple of inches, it's hardly worth remarking on.

  • Maybe inches on your ass. Anyway, done with this conversation.

  • Inches in your ass?

Well, to each his own I suppose, and best of luck with that.

And incidentally, it my indeed 'mean' something very dear to him (though i don't get that from the lyric) but he sings it as if it had all the emotional urgency of a laundry list.

People here are fond of comparing him to his father in looks and style, but you've only to listen to George's vocal on 'You' or especially 'What Is Life' to hear the difference. Dhani is nice, but he's got no passion at all. Sorry.

  • That is because this is not an upbeat song. His vocals match the song.

  • I meant his vocals match the music.

  • Yes, that's correct, both are dull and dreary. John sounded more interesting on 'I'm Only Sleeping'. . . and he actually yawned on it.

  • I don't know man, I mean everyone is entitled to their own opinion but to tell you the truth, the vocals are perfectly fine. His vocals are meant to sound laid back. He is expressing himself through how soft he's singing. oh, and yeah this may be George's son, but still not the same person. Dhani has nothing to do with the Beatles, yet all of your comparisons are of them. When they're argueably the greatest rock band in history, I would have to say comparing the two is very narrow-minded of you

  • I compared them primarily because so many people here already have, and also because I feel he's getting attention for his work in large part because George is his father.

I don't think he sucks, I've never said that, but I believe he's gotten an awful lot of praise and attention that he wouldn't be getting on merit alone.

This is (of course) my own opinion, and I fully expected those here to disagree with me.

Zach is a fantastic drummer btw.

  • Ooops! writing from my kid sister's computer. Sorry.

  • I will agree with pretty much all that you just said.

  • Zak

  • They are awesome

  • Wow, he really does sound like George... but anyway, this is a really brilliant song. I'll have to find some more stuff by them. :) I love it!

  • I Just Love This Band and Dhani hehe

  • Now this is just me but does anyone else notice the tri-force on the their suitcases? Either way awesome song.

  • dhani is a zelda fan ;D

  • lol its not a triforce....but it would be so awesome if it were a triforce xP

  • Great song to be making out to.

  • I like the softness of this song. Its a change from the classic metal I know and love.

  • Good song, not great but good. As a debut album, i think is promising. :D

  • love this song george harrison's son is a good singer he kinds of sounds like george

  • I really like the loopy base groove sometimes keepin the song simple works better. I am now a fan

  • Just listened to this again and I love the swingy rhythm. It's one of those that kind of grows on you. Maybe it all depends on one's mood what one likes.

  • The start of this song contains precisely what I mean - it's great. But then it moves into a sort of monotony that needs more 'life' to make it great. Maybe it needs more 'oomph' / passion-desperation? You could say the song's interpreted this way on purpose, because the girl will make the singer cry anyhow, but it seems too laid-back. Then it ends abruptly with a nice series of sounds. I love this band's work but tend to tune out about mid-way through some of their songs. Why, do you think?

  • Sweet Napalm,

I was trying to gently suggest that the songs need more variety within them, and more musical development and depth in order to hold the listener's attention longer. Some of the duo's songs have great qualities and make interesting social statements and a charming quality, so I don't want to discourage them at this stage in their development. But pop songs, by their nature, need to hold a kind of 'fast' energy (if not tempo) that monologues and other types of writing don't.

  • Then don't think of it as a pop song... Why have different expectations of different genres? It's an outdated system anyway...

  • Great song but a little too long - as many of your songs are... Try shortening them and see what happens.

  • Either you have a short attention span, or you're used to Grindcore. >.> If 3 minutes, 52 seconds is long, that makes me wonder what Opeth's multitude of 10-minute+ songs are.
