  • I hope all thos who think this is a good sport will get assraped by a big fucking horn!

  • Ok so its so wrong for someone to do what they love and to make a living and to do what they were raised around and the way their ancestors were raised but it is just fine and perfectly right to tell cowboys and cowgirls that they are stupid, idiots, big beer-bellied yahoos and that the way we live is wrong. I just dont understand how that is justified.

  • @TheWashingtonCowboy Animal abuse is animal abuse, not a lifestyle. Don't think rodeos are abusive? Work to get the exemption for rodeo/livestock lifted from your state's animal cruelty laws and we'll see how long rodeo can keep on injuring and killing animals without anyone be held accountable by law.

  • The cruelty here is obscene.

  • this is sick rodeo is animal cruelty for horse just as for the other animals who are involved in this ,....i wonder how u humans would feel if ya get pulled on a rope ,..or anything else ,...

  • u can fucking suck my nuts! u guys fucking suck. i want to fucking kill all of you people. suck my dick cause rodeo is the shit and its not fucking animal abuse. at least were using these animals instead of fucking slaughtering them and then eating them like u fucking pricks do every day! so suck on my dick.

  • @pb2xtrent Once again, thank you for showing the low mentality of a rodeo supporter. We do appreciate you proving us right about that.

  • @pb2xtrent

    fucking hard man ,

shut the fuck up u sad cunt

  • @pb2xtrent, wowza, froth at the mouth much? You should get a rabies shot, you're stark raving mad.

  • COUNTRY FAGGOTS!

  • You'd have to be blind not to see the abuse here. Many if not most "cowboys" are not even close to stock-people. Just big beer-bellied yahhoos havin' fun making an animal miserable. End this stupid sport. It's wrong.

  • I am going to throw up!!! How can anybody think this is funny or a right thing to do?! Only dumb, ignorant, stupid, cruel, violent people can enjoy something like that...What goes around comes around and humans will pay for this abuse, use and torturing of the animals!!! They are already paying for it...Nature will fight us back and Animals will be liberated from human torture! This is SHAME of USA! STOP THIS TORTURE and teach kids to love and be smart and appreciate animals!

  • Shut the hell up you dumn animal rights ppl we have a right to rope steers been doing it for a long time so stop complaining about it and shut your mouths you aint going to be able to ban rodeos. Especially PBR take a hell of alot to do that so just get the hell off these videos and dont watch them okay is that clear and do you understand that end of story.

  • @MrJoshua2626 Sounds like you could use a little more fiber in your diet. do you understand that?

  • @SHARKonlineorg you sound like a real d bag you must need a little more meat in you diet. obvously you can tell they are tenderizing this steer before they slaughter. you guys need to learn when to stop poosting stupid ass animal right videos no one cares fags. i also like the judges call on letting it go on just to piss you people off he probably saw you sitting in the crowd crying and the people over seas have alot of equipment nice try though bringing that shit in to try to prove a point

  • @matt201032 Thank you for saying the rodeo judges let the abuse go on just because we were filming. You've helped prove our point, so thanks again for the help.

  • @MrJoshua2626 hell yea man you tell them peta people how shit is i grew up around this trippin team ropin all of it and i cant stand these people who cant read it says when you get in no video cameras fuckin morons

  • @08farmer No video cameras to document your abuse? That's just not working for us.

  • @MrJoshua2626

Obviously, KID, you have no idea of the horrors like these that go on around the world.

The cowboy days are over, this is animal abuse. Let me drag you behind a horse through the mud, as it seeps down your throat, into your lungs and eyes. That, I now call it, is how I will treat people, because our ancestors used to do it, so it's the best way.

  • Stop with the "rodeo abuse" videos!!! These steer are not being abused! I will agree, that sometimes a rider will make a mistake and cause the steer harm, but normally, these animals are not injured at all! They live nice lives to when they are not in the arena!

  • @fotty96 ""They live nice lives to when they are not in the arena!"" That's your excuse for tolerating animal abuse?

  • Thank you demonstrate the truth!

  • this is sick. i hate these people for dragging the animal in the mud and children laughing.

  • I still think that rodeoing is a good thing you piece of crap you ought to try it and get your fat lazy couch potato ass of the computer and try to play basketball

  • this is america

  • i am actually crying right now ;(

  • fu**ing shit. poor animal!

  • shut up you fags bad mouthing this. yall dont know shit about rodeo! get a life and fuck with something else

  • haleykay: No, we'll continue exposing rodeo and you toilet-mouthed animals abusers.

  • Yeah! You tell that poop mouth.

  • omg took the words right out of my mouth!

  • @haleykay wow! I always knew cowboys were ignorant drunks, but I had no idea that they had no regard for life. Does your church that you go to every Sunday teach how to abuse animals and use bad language?

  • @ThePfunk87 cowboys are ignorant drunks? Are you for real?? Cowboys have really good morals of life, maybe you are the ignorant drunk, bad mouthing these people who have helped develop the united states, hmm?

  • @fotty96 Rodeo contestants, what you call cowboys, did not help develop the United States or Canada.

  • for once, i will agree to an extent here. Animals should never have been asked to perform under they circumstances. I don't care how big a rodeo it is, it should have been post poned or taken care of in some way so that it was dry and safe. Asking anything to work in those conditions is unreasonable, and as shown, clearly unsafe.

  • Yes!! that looks awesome, I want to be pulled through the water puddles like that, LUCKY STEER!!

  • salamon1080: Yes indeed, you are a rodeo person for sure.

  • It's not abuse! 95% of the steers get right back up and move one like nothing happened. I'm sorry that some steers are hurt in this sport. But seriously if we shut down every sport that someone or an animal gets hurt we wouldn't have any sports. We're not going to stop because of your videos portraying my family and friends as abusers. Do us and yourself a favor and stop wasting your time.

  • theravens21: Is this supposed to be a defense of steer busting?

  • @SHARKonlineorg Do you eat meat? Do you use hair dye, shampoo, face cleanser, body wash?? Most of those thing are either made from animal, or tested on animals!! Would you like me to tell you what they do to cows at the slaughter house!!!

  • @fotty96 We know what goes on in slaughterhouses. From your other posts, it's apparent you're okay with it.

  • @theravens21 They should drag you in the mud and then you can tell us how fun it was!!! f*ck*ng hick!

  • In the old west, this is what the cowboys did to survive. Are you telling us that the cowboys cant take care of their cattle. this is how they show what they cowboys did. yes they could have better treatment of the animals but still, this is what they did.

  • cloudsoarer13: Real ranch cowboys do not and did not drag their cattle around like this.

  • Haha, really? You seriously think you know something about cowboys? I come from a very long line of ranchers and I think I know very well that steer roping originated from "real ranch cowboys" and their practices of doctoring cattle. So yes, they do and they did.

  • theravens21: Nonsense. We will be happy to come film this in everyday ranch work if you wish. Just send us an invite and we'll figure out a time.

  • @SHARKonlineorg thats true. they didnt drag them like that, that was a badly trained horse. outside of rodeos they trip them to knock the air out of them so they can doctor them without being kicked

  • @2214lo Outside of rodeos, if they're already in chutes, there's no reason to release and trip them.

  • you guys are fags...you need to put the good stuff about the daddy of them all..the animals are so well taken care of. the vet out there as been there for over 40 year... thy take more care of the animals then the cowboys who are getting throwen around...and i say this very proudly considering i am from the town of the daddy of them all ..... and you ass wholes can take shit about this rodeo but its part of our history. it means as much as anything to us here and people every where.

  • soccergoalie153: The videos expose Cheyenne for what it is. It's run of fooling people is over. We exposed Cheyenne for shocking animals, and we're just getting warmed up.

  • Oh, this is a bunch of crap. Nobody is intending on hurting these animals. Get over it.

  • theravens21: Not only are the animals abused, injured and sometimes killed, but the comments of the rodeo announcer makes it clear that rodeo people think the abuse if funny.

  • I owned a cutting horse it was trained to stop and not drag the calf...these horses are not cutting horses and are not trained right to do this job they are quarter horses used for show...not work ..the way it was in the real west. Where is the Humane Society, ASPCA??

  • diane18944: So far, SHARK is the lead organization against rodeos. Hopefully others will jump in soon, as this abuse should not be tolerated in this or any other country.

  • I rated this high because I want the message out there ..I want the world to see this...we must stop this holocaust that our animals are going through. Thank you for all your work I support you 100% thank you we need to stop this I wrote a letter to coke and they denied sponsoring them. Liars

  • diane189444: Thanks for the rating and the letter to Coke. Yes, the company certainly is lying, but it is feeling the heat of the campaign. When the campaign is won, you'll be a part of it, so in advance, thanks again.

  • people are so stupid...

  • Damn, I hate animal abuse!

  • now watching it fully through

    how sad is that

  • this not as cruel as rodeo

    i still dont like it

  • That is WRONG how could people be so heartless.... = ' (

  • They are torturing animals for sport.

To those that think that is okay: ever heard of karma???

Probably not-you're too ignorant and uneducated.

  • its not animal abuse! it is a mishap get over it!! think about it, what else r the calves for? eating?

  • yeah; where they are supposed to be humanely uthanized and not drug thru mud and have their necks broken

    ur such a fuck face

how can ur heart not hurt when u see this?

  • Fucking STUPID assholes. This is a public event that is outright abuse and torture to animals. In my state, you can get 5 years in prison for intentionally abusing animals like this.

Fuck all you animal abusers, you will all suffer for what you are doing. Listen to all the children laughing. SICK!!!

  • i've only watched 3 minutes of this and i'm upset!!! this is a huge rodeo that's put on!!! i love horses and i like going to rodeos but this is so not cool!!!

  • bastardi pezzi di m............bisognerebbe farlo a loro.......

  • yeah, who cares, its nothing to worry about, steers eventually get eaten anyways

  • I sometimes like to joke that the sport of rodeo largely consists of playing with your food. :-)

  • is this poor trainin of the horses? i thought they were supposed to stop as soon as the rider dismounts

  • The horse has to stop in calf roping, but this is with steers. In calf roping, the contestant then dismounts and has to overturn the calf and tie its legs. That would be virtually impossible with a steer. It's quite different and quite unfamiliar to me. I've been to many rodeos in Arizona and Texas, but I've never seen this event. Perhaps it's only done in Wyoming. I've seen steer wrestling but never this "steer busting."

  • sick =(

  • who ever says that this is animal abuse should be shot! this is simply just rodeo, it always has and always will be. so keep up the work cowboys and you un supporters, GO PISS OFF!!!

  • You are a jerk!

Cant you see that this is abuse!

Would you like to be dragged after a horse and die!?

    Asshole!

  • abuse you think this is abuse go fight the rights of the babies that get beat to death by their parents, if you like to complain about the rodeo DONT WHATCH IT!

  • mas01b: Using abused babies to try to divert attention away from rodeo animal abuse. Can you possibly go any lower?

  • you are stupid if you think this is FUNNY!

  • this is really sick...where are the animal control officers to stop this abuse??

  • sick...

  • who ever says that this is animal abuse should get a beating! this is just a rodeo thing and it always will be. so you people out there who do not support our cowboys and what they do, PISS THE F*** OFF

  • what hte hell is wrong with these people?!

  • THE STEERS DROWNING IN MUD WHILE HE IS BEING CHOKED AND SAT ON

and that jerk of an anounncer just says "thats surfin in Cheyanne!!"

WHILE THE CROWD IS LAUGHING AND CHEERING

what kind of people enjoy this!!??

  • i agree, i HATE cow roping, and tying, but i love everythinig else!

when its time for cow roping, i just go to the food stands and come back in 25 minutes.

    :)

  • im shoced over taht you SUPPORT THIS! If you go there, you suppert this!

  • $2000 REWARD: I will pay $2000 for a genuine video of a cowboy or rodeo sponsor getting gored, maimed, amputated, paralysed, by a bull or horse. I want to see lots of cowboy blood, the more dying cowboy in pain and agony, the more I will pay you, But its got to show the cowboy totally mangled. I like to see dying cowboys. It gets me very very excited Dying cowboys get me sexually aroused! *****If the cowboy is paralysed from neck down, I will pay extra $500 bonus!!

  • This shit is fucked up. Why would anyone allow this to happen. this is just like tyeing your dog to the fences with a short leash and letting it hang and strangle slowly, and die a painful death. Would you want your house pets to end up like that... I dont think so. This is really really disturbing.

  • death to his family...

  • accidents happen any real rider would never allow that to happen..i've never see a true cowboy drag his steer it's a quick rope and tie

  • This is true in washington the horses are trained to keep tension on the rope but never to pull, you get disqualified if the horse pulls the steer more then five feet

  • thats same with the shows i go see.

never see be dragged more then 5 feet!!

  • Hate u all who likes watch animal in troubles or suffering. U r all full of shit... Thats why we are gonna disapear soon of the planet... We are a fucking virus for the world, thas all...

  • YOU ARE FULL OF SHIT!accidents HAPPEN!Did you know people put Harmful chemicals Under Horses tails in DRESSAGE!DRESSAGE Must be cruel.QUIT seriotyping.I nbhafve been rodeoin' For twelve Years.I HAVe NEVER see ANY Of this SHIT,I have traveled All over the US,Rodeoing, and Competing in barrels.

  • TexasKailee: Denial is the foundation of rodeo.

  • Wow I finally got a comment to post. I steer rope and I can tell you I hate muddy arenas. These horses are trained to keep the rope tight to keep the steer from gaining his feet. With a wet surface it is the difference of pulling a sled on dirt and one on ice. My horse is trained to stop when I say whoa. Some of these horses are the same way but, maybe not as polished or their nerved up as any other athlete would be doing their respective sport. I choose not to attend events I disagrees with

  • sure wish I could post a different point of veiw but, just like anyone else with an agenda you only are intrested in your own opinion

  • I couldn't stand watching the whole video...

It's not a sport to abuse animals! We are people for christ sake! We are more clever than these poor animals and we have a responsibility to treat them right!!

  • I support Shart 100%. People who think cruelty like this is okay should have this done to them. Then we'll ask how much "fun" it was. All I know is, it wiould be funny as hell to see those cowboys being dragged like that. We could stand around bragging about how well we care for them. Love ya, shark. keep doing what you're doing

  • Stormhorse: Thanks for the kind words. We'll stay on it.

  • please leave CFD alone...I live in Cheyenne and myself and many others have had enough with the things that you are saying CFD does.

  • Annabqt: We aren't saying what the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo does, we're showing what it does. That's a big difference. When CFD stops doing it, we'll stop showing it. We can only use what CFD gives us, right?

  • thats fuckin funny

  • roperboy: Yes, rodeo thugs find it to be funny. That's the proof that y'all are a bunch of animal abusers. Thanks for the confirmation.

  • thats fucking sick

  • bm: We already know that the slick surface confuses the horses. The easy answer to the problem is to cancel the steer busting portion of the show, at least if you have the steer's interest in mind at all. This obviously did not happen. Instead, they dragged animals were the subjects of jokes.

  • This is a great example of the character, or lack thereof, of rodeo people. Unapologetic anmial abusers.

  • that is **** stupid they kill calfs for a sport ***holes ***$#%%^6 urgh now they call seal slaughtering a sport what is going on in the world

  • isnt it funny how these are all stupid fuckin yankees who dont know shit about shit and or riding a fuckin horse??? This all seems to happoen state side and evryone in the rodeo world gets a bad name from them ???

  • And..is the calf even alive?

  • ChristopherRobin007: Incredibly, many steers get up to be abused again, but many others do not. It is just a matter of time before an victim succumbs to the abuse.

  • Wow! What men to be able to rope the legs of an injured calf! These assholes make me sick and should have the same done to them.

  • Except most of the crowd consists tourists....

  • Disgusting!! That the animals are dragged until they cant even move, let alone fight, just shows even more what tough guys these jackasses are! The crowd applauds like a bunch of inbreds from Gummo

  • I would love to see it done to the rodeo coward ass holes!!

I be happy to do it myself to them and watch them drown in the dirt!!

  • ...and we the barbarians laugh at this. It shows us how backwards we are all are and to think we are self proclaimed as the most intelligent specie on this planet. We love to be entertained the suffering of others, I hate you for what you have done and I hate you for who you have become. RODEO, cowboys you all are insecure little white men.

  • cowboys are pissants with big belt buckles and small minds

ps what the fuck was the dickhead with the big hat tryin to save the steer from drownin in the mud? cause hes a pissant

  • Omgsh!

how can you do that ?

    it's so horrible !

do you wanna be that animal ?

    i don't think so.

  • steerridergal: Which horse? It happened a lot.

  • This is really horrible! How can people enjoy things like that?!

  • I wish it was the horrible Cowboy being dragged trough the mudd by the cow

  • i've seen far nastier things on national geographic

  • tycstah: That's a little like witnessing someone getting mugged, but simply walking away saying, "I've seen worse beatings." It doesn't pass muster.

  • You make me sick...

    "God bless America my ass!"

  • SAD....

  • Even though it was at a rodeo for everyone to see, people do this on their ranches for years. On our ranch every spring we rope and drag the calves to the firepit to be branded. Yeah there should be a limit be I guess when we have done it for years I don;t find dragging calves abuse. As long as you dont drag them a long ways!!

  • barrelracer35: This "event" is steer roping, originally known as steer busting, and then steer tripping. There is no excuse for this "event." It is nothing more than an excercise in brutal abuse.

  • Well... I hope that you don't eat meat man.... because if you are worried about a cow getting dragged, then what about a good healthy cow beinh slaughtered? Did you just wake up on morning and decide rodeo was cruel? You must not be from the country then!!!

  • barrelracer35: First, SHARK people do not eat meat. Second, this has nothing to do with food production. It is torture and torment under the guise of entertainment. Please don't pin this kind of garbage on all country people. Every group has its rejects.

  • WHAT THE FUCK!

    Thats horrible!

Im so glad the rodeo where i am isnt like this.

    Holy shit,.

  • Okay, honestly, I am no where near a so-called "animals rights" activist. Not even an inch of one. In fact, those people piss me off alot. But, you know what, I watch quite a few rodeos on YouTube (and I enjoy watching them) but I could not finish watching this video. Sorry, but this video really disturbed me. I felt sorry for those poor animals.

  • the rodeo should have been cancelled.

    thats the bottom line.

  • After that i think i might honestly be sick

how could people even enjoy that cos i cant bear it. the poor poor poor animal. those people r sick.

  • FujiiwaraMichiyo: Tell you what. We'll work on rodeo animal abuse, and you can work on those "more disturbing things..."

  • first of all, The horse was to blame. the horses are trained to stay still and sometimes they spook and run. it's only instinct. so get your facts striat. I'm a horse trainer, I train rodoe horses. so before you insult, talk to someone who knows animals better.

  • Ah, the horse was to blame. The phony cowboys are never to blame for anything. The horse was responsible for training himself?

Denial is the best friend of rodeo people, along with rodeo judges who are "a little lenient."

  • i have been reading on animals scence i was 2 and ridding scence i was 4, and no matter what you say can makes people change there mind if people say it's cruel then it is. i can't see who you dont think it is, i know you train horses for rodoes but QUIT you can still be a horse trainer but dont train horses for people who use them for cruelty twards other animals.

  • "The horse is to blame?" Is this a joke or what?

It`s the act it self that is discusting, and that this is a national sport is horrible. And to defence it like you do and hide behinde the horse you ride is a big joke!

This is animal cruelty no matter what you think!

  • You know what, you ppl are freakin Idiotic Fools. No "They Were Not Hurt"???????? Ummm what have you got your head stuck up your ass. How about we get some of these cowboys dragg them by their necks heads whatever for a few laps and see how well they do. What you think because its a calf, bull, horse it doesnt feel the pain. As they say IGNORANCE is bliss, but what I say STUPID is obvious.

  • They're being dragged over rough ground, through enough water to drown them, no doubt having their hides torn. I wonder how many broken legs, backs necks happen in the run of one of these events.

Do you think people would 'feel' more if this was a pony, or a dog or a lamb enduring this horror? I wonder.

This looks like FUN???? How numb we've all become. Makes me feel nothing but shame for humans as a species.

  • How come the video never shows these calves get up? Could it be because they get up and run out of the arena. If they were hurt I guess they couldn't get up and run. So maybe despite everything shark claims these calves were not injured. It was a bad night for rodeo and still no animals are harmed.

  • They're steers, not calves. The issue is not whether they get up, but how they are being dragged, and how the rules are a joke because the judge is "a little lenient."

  • Shark come on you are smarter than that. That is by far your weakest comeback. You have no idea the difference between a calf and a steer. Those calves could have been steers but they are still calves. They were not hurt so your only protest is that a judge was lenient? Come on.

  • Barebackjeff: Everything about steer busting is wrong. It is a despicable activity enjoyed by only those who should never have contact with animals because of their complete inability to feel compassion. This video focuses on one particular aspect, but the whole damned event is sick.

  • the horse is trained to keep tension on the rope. because of the mud, the animal couldn't feel enough tension on the rope. it was just doing what it was trained to do. you didn't see all the guy's riding past the camera??? they were trying to stop the horse to prevent injury of the steer. get it straight

  • Mikehaid: So you admit that the horses are not adequately trained, as these are conditions that might be expected from time to time. Also, if you want to stop the steer from being dragged, other than not abusing him to begin with, cut the rope. Y'all carry knives. Figure it out.

  • it sucks

  • fuck jimmy allen and any redneck who thinks this is anything cool to watch, see or do. maybe we should tie them up and drag them for about 100 miles or so. how is this not illegal but yet dog fighting is? its animal abuse either way!!

  • I can't believe the people watching are laughing. This is probably the worst show I've seen. Most aren't like this. In a poperly done rodeo the horses are trained to stop after the calf/steer has been roped. These horses and people are obviously not properly trained.

  • Kalysons, we appreciate your comment, but we need to point out that this is Cheyenne, the "Daddy of em All." The stock contractor is Harry Vold, one of the highly acclaimed in the rodeo world (for reasons we are completely unable to explain). What this video and others of Cheyenne we have up show is that the rodeo world is not living by its rules or supposed ethics.

  • Kalysons, we appreciate your comment, but we need to point out that this is Cheyenne, the "Daddy of em All." What this video and others of Cheyenne we have up show is that the rodeo world is not living by its rules or supposed ethics.

  • disgusting, why is this barbarity not banned by the law makers of the US?!

  • The rodeo industry, in spite of all its cruelty and corruption, has demonstrated considerable ability to gather support from government entities, politicians and corporations. By the way, politicians include presidential candidates Mitt Romney and Bill Richardson. Both have also courted the hunting fraternity, and are clearly willing to rise to power on the suffering and death of animals.

  • Ever pick up a newspaper and read about some kids caught torturing an animal, and wondered to yourself, where the hell are their parents? Now we know.

  • That's one of the most repulsive rodeo videos I've seen from SHARK so far.

    Thanks for posting it.

  • Likewise. I can't believe these kinds of things are still happening. I can't believe I actaually went to a rodeo once and was cheering...But that was a LONG time ago when I was 6. I know better now...

  • The poor things, it's amazing that they can still breath after having all the mud pushed into their noses.
