Whats done to the EB? I've got an ED XR6 and i wanna set it up for drifting too hehe. Just need to get a Lokka diff in there and some sort of suspension set up.. Not sure where to start with the suspension though
@Barraman69 The falcon is turbo'ed now, suspension wise he did it the ceapest way possible, he welded plates between the springs to stiffen them up. wouldnt recommend it though, a locked diff is a must!
that XE is freaking insane! my dad used to own a v8 XD station wagon and he said that was a beast. mass respsect for showing those jap ricers that falcons can do corners as well!
yess thats wat i wanna see. there are too many ignorant pricks out there that think u can only slide decent with a jap car. with the right shit the local gear can mix it up too
@gavism Couldnt agree more. Anyone can buy standard drift parts off the shelf for a skyline or 180sx. it takes commitment and serious work to get an old falcon ute or sedan into the competition.
Righteous. I salute you. People sneer at 250 crossflows and xe falcons. They don't seem to understand if given half a chance, they'll tear the balls of most ricers and v8s. You have done the xe proud.
It has a stock car engine, revs to about 7500rpm, V8 ute springs in the rear, koni shocks, custom front springs, T5 gearbox, now a supra box, locked diff, all you really need is a good engine and suspension to start with, he has blown this engine up and rebuilt ir since this vid,
Yeah he has had the EB falcon since he was 17 he is now 25. So yeah you could say he grew up with it.. the guy with the XE is a bit younger but has had the car from a stock falcon also.
proudskip...not really man...look at that XE, notice 0% body roll...that sucker has a fair bit of work done...that one would be as easy to drift as a silvia really..if it was a standard S pack...he wouldnt be sliding with precision thats fer sure lol...but theres nothin better than to see a tough XE like that drifting...nothin quite like a quality aussie car..built with the thought that we can do better than that europian crap...who needs a BMW..we got FALCONS ;)
And Im not referring to anyone posting on here (cant be fucked reading all replies) but I am referring to heaps of people I have asked about drifting a Falcon (if it was possible) they all said keep dreaming...HAH HERES PROOF!
lol nice dude i dont mind the xe's eventhough im a young person but still id rather an old xf or an xe to an xd than any other new ford may not have the power but a few mods and its a fukin nice car....
i dont mind what uve done with ur spring setup and stuff like that... did u have to change the cambers and everythin else like that???
im only runnin a 92 eb series 2 4.0l with a luky sitting on the ass end... not on the road yet though its a rebuild.
just goes to show with a sick suspenstion set up you can drifft even with an old family car... by the way you know how to drive mate keep it up champ :)
Yes, true. But these Falcons are so god damn heavy, it would be almost like making a Truck go sideways. These guys have skills, and Fords just plain BUILT TOUGH.
That is so cool, it's great to see some old Fords doing that, never tried with my XE when I had it, but did some good burnouts in her though, check em out
the XE is running a ford 4.1litre or 250 crossflow 6 cylinder engine with heavy modifications, the suspension, Koni adjustable shocks all round, ute rear springs lowered, hd front springs, large whiteline swaybars front and rear. cheers
The EB will be turbo in the next few weeks and back out drifting. and the XE has had a complete rebuild with a few major mods. like bigger cam, EF crank, more head work. should sound ace and different. my cortina is about 2 months away from being out also. cheers
if you wan tto see some more vids, there are some vids of stormy in his XE at Driftfest, if you want any questions let me know and i can answering, stormy is rebuilding th e engine now with an EF falcon crank, should be at Easternats 2008. cheers..
Those boys have skills! Who was that driving the XE`and is there anymore video of him drifting that car? Id happily buy him a set of tyres and tank of fuel to see him in action.
the xe looks like an easier car to drift.. it's sitting much flatter then the eb and its probably lighter aswell!! Good skills buy both drivers though, not many people could drift boats like that.
lol. yeah, i will be out there soon, in my TE cortina. that should be a handful, its a worked 250 crossflow on nitrous. should make around the 200kw mark.
hey, i am a member of ford forums, my mate with the XE isnt, but my mate with the EB is. my car is still being built but is under mentl6 i think ill find out anyway. cheers

You can drift practically any car, be it a 4WD, FF or FR - you just need to know how or have the setup to make it impressive.
Powerslide0 3 years ago
drifting in a ff car isnt really drifting if u no wat i mean
doddsy99 3 years ago
Nah, it's not the proper drifting like you see here, but just dropping the wheels in the dirt or hitting the handbrake.
Powerslide0 3 years ago

a 3.7 diff would probably suit this car better. cheers
