I think they didn't make it, because they were very much like En Vogue and SWV and less like Destiny's Child. DC was the form for the industry at the time.See style wise they wore clothing like TLC but TLC was a force. After Dark were talented women but never found their own niche, and faded into oblivion. We saw lots of music videos from the states that were about love, and relationships in a more honest and generally nicer way. it's just since the 2000's its been all about extremes and how far things can be pushed.
