At least BAP could perform with a good singer - must have been a new experience for them. But the keyboard player should go to a music school or get himself a good teacher.
Joachim Fritz Krauledat alias John Kay - German origin, born in East Prussia, Tilsit since 1944 - BAP here loosely inserted into the pocket. This power, which he interpreted to Steppenwolf, one of the greatest classics in rock history - it can cut the band from Cologne, a giant wheel. "Born to be wild" must be presented with a lot of emotions, you have to smell the gasoline, the exhaust smell of the machines on their way to Mardi Gras - all this was missing completely at BAP.
crowds like this piss me off. they're getting punched in the face with a bitchin classic rock song and all they can do is clap every beat. at least the band played it well...
3:00 - 3:07.. oh my god the keyboardist is so gay... i dont know why John performed with these weirdos.. he didn't even bring his guitar to the the solo
John Kay was right on but the band lacked something, I can't put my finger on it. Maybe it was poor recording equipment. Still enjoyable, thanks for uploading Magic. GRADE B-
The band has no drive or emotion in the playing - they just play like studio musicians and just play the music - not feel it. Just a thought - but that's how it made me feel also - but God Bless John - still rockin and doing great.
Great classic. Nice rithm.

The band Steppenwolf may change thru the years, it will always be JOHN KAY And Steppenwolf, he is way greater than the band, which can be changed.
But THESE guys - were lame. Could have been a machine playing. But JOHN shines - as always.
