Am I the only one who thinks you could do more damage with an S at the end of Mission 10's combo instead of Maximum Wesker? I don't know the exact hitstun deterioration by that point, but (correct me if I'm wrong) it seems like you could land and OTG-assist/Lower Samurai Edge and then do Lost on Nightmares. What I'm trying to say is there's probably a way to use most of 10's combo, but the last hit seems like a waste of an HC Bar.

For mission 8, it's easiest if you press cr.M and P1 assist at the same time, then delay your button press to Cr.H as much as possible. This will allow Storm to be hit by Chris's bullets. You also have to link the Cr.H to the Phantom Move L as close as possible. The rest is cake.

@paladin400 Not necessarily. The assist will hit when it needs to if you press Cr.M and P1 at the same time. It's just the dexterity you need to delay the Cr.H to have the combo continue. It's really difficult (but not the HARDEST), because you also have to remember the Phantom Move L right after.

Yeah, the timing on Wesker's Mission 8 is nigh-impossible. The five-star scale doesn't do this justice. Hitting L→M→P1 within milliseconds, mashing H for your sweep to combo into Gun Fire, then teleport into Standing H? There is almost no way this is happening unless you have a lucky rabbit with all its feet that just so happens to crap four-leaf clovers.

It's like they purposefully made it so that five-star missions are easier than three- or four-star missions just to screw with players' heads.

For mission 7 you *MUST* press the S attack on the ground *only*, do not press S while in the air. Also make mission 7 even easier by moving Storm further away from the wall you bouncer her off of (she will take more time to travel to bounce off the wall = more time for you). If you press the S while you are still in the air, the game will not recognize your input as the correct "Ground S" input and you won't be able to complete mission.

Mission 8 is such BS, you HAVE to call it in before the Cr. M, can't press Cr.M and A1 at the same time as even then it is to slow. So instead of Cr.L, Cr.M, A1, Cr.H you can do Cr.L, A1, CrM, Cr H....unlike what the mission told you. Wasted quite some time trying to do it "right".

Okaaaaay for those who are having a hard time with 8, you need to press the crouching medium and partner button at almost the same time. It would be MUCH EASIER on the arcade stick, but take this advice from the guy that did ALL of the missions including dlc ^_^

But I digress, press the medium and follow up with the partner a nano second away. That way you will give time for the crouching high and phantom move to finish the combo :)

after that, you want to have the crouch H paused enough so it still combos with the L and M attacks.  This will buy Chris enough time to come from the side of the screen and combo into the crouch H.

If you think of the crouch heavy as a way to give chris more time to show up, you should have a ton of success and be able to land it consistently like Vesper

Since so many people are failing to explain the logic behind mission 8, this should help a ton like it did for me...

I've tried using negative edge for chris to come out on the cross-over, but i couldnt land it consistently. Instead, what you want to do is think of the timing you use for L to M, and use that same timing for M to S. You are using the assist button likes its another light to medium attack. It should feel like bam bam bam, with no breaks in between at a pretty rapid speed.

I just did Mission number 8 on a ps3 controller. I found that if you hit the chris assist button right after the square button (the first attack) and follow it up with the rest, it will have the assist work successfully, completing the mission. Hope I worded it well enough :P
