  • Very confusing - but interesting. It may be true that some people, or many people at some point in their lives, inhibit a bond (chemistry) unconsciously in order to stay in their comfort-zone/life-style – and allow a bond when there’s little or no chance of getting involved. However, I don’t believe that this hypothesis holds up in most cases but is usually the opposite. But I think it’s a good excuse for someone to cling to if they’re failing in their love life.

  • i think i know what you're talking about. the chemistry that hypnodeb1 is talking about is the kind of love that doesn't last. i guess every relationship starts with "chemistry" and whether it lasts or not will depend on the person you're with and the factors that affects your relationship.

  • Just because you are attracted to someone chemically doesn't mean you love them.

  • You are completely incorrect in your statements *chemistry is not love* and *chemistry is what is created by the ego*. Humans are atomic structures. When two people, M and F, fall in love into a chemically bonded relationship

    M + F - - > MF

The multi-year process is what is called a chemical reaction, pure and simple. Educate yourself by reading Goethes Elective Affinities.
