I love how they put maxed out pc gameplay, in the title, and the low rez has to look the EXACT same. They got nice graphics cards, and fast processors playing a game made for a dos computer. This is by no means up to par with those, but it still gives some nostalgia back to the days where a game like this would have been popular. I say "can be" because there seems to be a lack of direction and game balance, here. As with many games like this, currency is key to survival early on - and in that department, the game makes things very difficult.

You guys have to believe me when I say this, because the Russian version is MILES better than this. The voice acting, for one, is amazing. the main character sounds like a mean bastard and all the voices just give out this gritty vibe. And the people who assault you at the beginning....well lets just say that the game wouldn't have even been released in the States if they kept the original tribal sounding voices.

and the story is freakin' great. Imagine Fallout 3 but in a more brutal non-politically correct world, then combine it with Oz and Escape from Butcher Bay. That's what you get. the dialogue in the game is great. Sometimes, you really have to watch what you say, because saying the wrong things to the wrong people can get you killed (and fed to the hounds as a result). The music honestly isn't that bad. The only thing that I don't like is that the combat is too simplistic.
