Absolutely the point I was trying to make. It is a pretty scary notion when you really stop to consider it, and the original intent the founding fathers had for that Amendment. It was to protect us from our own Government because they KNEW we would be other-taken by tyranny! And now that they outnumber us in the technological warfare department, I doubt in an us versus them scenario, even with OUR weapons, we would loose.

It was introduced Jan. of 2009.
It is something we really need to keep an eye on in case it comes out of committee.
It is a bill that was introduced with good intentions but will later be used by those who seek to subjugate all Americans. It will be very easy to steadily tighten the laws until virtually no one will be "eligible" to own a firearm.
The most intimidating issue is that the US attorney General can add provisions.

I don't know whether 9/11 was an inside job or not and frankly it doesn't matter. Why doesn't it matter? Quite simply because at this point it's plain to see that most American citizens have become overly-reliant on other people(corporations and the federal government) to take care of them. At best, many are just apathetic. So even if 9/11 became widely known to be conspired, would most Americans really do anything about it besides talk angrily and then forget about it a few months later?
