the easiest way to get the sequoia is by completeing the radio missions for camp forlorn hope. during the quest chief hanlon kills himself at camp gulf and he drops a sequoia with 100% condition

ummmm? i found the ranger sequoia at the ranger base by the hoover damn. i killed an ncr ranger for it. any suggestions on how. and lol killed benny with a straight razor and 1 melee

@serab56 its unique till you get to lvl 12 I think, but its classed as unique because its an upgraded version of another revolver

Talk to the black guy at The Aces in The Tops and start the quest Talent Pool. There's a way to get the Mysterious Magnum from the Lonesome Drifter without killing anybody. For more info, google 'Fallout wiki' and select the first option then in the search bar just type the name of the quest.

the ranger sequoia is not a unique gun you can get it from NCR veterans

@jackster1302 the Ranger Sequoia is classes as a unique gun, it only appears on rangers when you get to a certain level, till then he's the only person with it

you can get the ranger sequoia when ncr veteran rangers start to show up at the ranger stations (ranger station bravo, ranger station charlie, etc.)

Actually it is. It is the unique version of the hunting revolver. It is the only unique weapon in New Vegas in which there are multiple ones, but it is still categorized as unique.

ranger sequio is not rare there is like 7 in the game lot of the ranger vets in that bulding have one and some at ranger staion echo on a ghoul vet

Yep, Ranger Sequoia is not unique, but I'd still say it's rare. If Chief Hanlon kills himself during Return to Sender he does it with Ranger Sequoia. It can be taken from the ground next to his corpse if you are fast. NCR Ranger runs to Hanlon's office right after the shot to look what happened and if he sees you take the Sequoia the whole Camp Golf turn hostile. Taking the Sequoia counts as stealing and results in loss of Karma but that's only -1 Karma so who cares.
