@FunETman I think you're taking this too seriously. A "curse" can be anything that is unfortunate-- someone could be "cursed" with bad genes, it doesn't necessarily refer to voodoo magic or anything silly like that.

Yay...finally an end to the 2 weeks of boring cutscenes/plot stuff. Good for playing the game, but not very entertaining for an LP (not that it's HCBailly's fault, I mean what is he gonna do).

@RockBanned Yeah, it did drag on for awhile there. That is somewhat the drawback of the format I've chosen, especially for RPGs, as opposed to what other video game internet celebrities do. Still, I prefer to keep my videos as primarily a walkthrough format, entertainment second. If you have a suggestion for a way to improve it, I'd be happy to listen.

@HCBailly Oh I'm not even saying there could be an improvement (hence the "I mean what is he gonna do" comment) or avoided. Yeah your format isn't the best for these long stretches, but I think it makes up for it in the 95% of the other cases. This stuff is just unavoidable

I watch your LPs for the meticulous and methodical method you use while being entertaining at the same time; I was basically just saying it's good to have some good old fashioned action (and sidequest galore) coming up :)

I can't think of a way to improve it without you trying to be someone else. It's just a boring part of the game, and IMO a bad way to start off a new disc. The plot just drags here, and disjoints you from the "save the world" feeling with all the story telling that doesn't add much to the plot.

But I still prefer HC over anyone else. It'd get annoying really fast if someone was trying to make jokes every 2 seconds, or funny voices. I think you plowed through it well.

@HCBailly As a novelist, I can attest one of the most difficult parts in writing is keeping the "required plot" to be legitimately interesting. Frankly, I think you do a fantastic job, and I've since unsubscribed from mostly every channel on youtube except yours.

You can't grab it. It's just there now that you've delivered the coffees to Morrid. It will never show up in your Key Items menu, but it does give a miniscule boost to your treasure rating.
