In all seriousness why the hell is Alan Keyes lecturing George W. Bush and John McCain? I mean I hate George Bush but I'd take him over Alan Keyes every chance you gave me and same thing twice over goes for John McCain.
I love this John McCain. Man kicked ass and had no fear of whoever got in his way. Love that man at that time. And he ran over asshole Alan Keyes who absolutely had it coming.
States rights all the way...if texas wants to outlaw abortion....good. If Minnesota wants to legalize gay marriage.... great. Lets let the better ideas win....(in the long run, its almost always liberal says history....but i will never be pro choice)
You dont give a fuck about human life. You dont give a fuck about the thousands of people who die every day over seas. but you do give a fuck about your idiot daughter. War is different from senseless killing John Mccain, DONT YOU DARE PRETEND THAT YOU CARE!!!
Believe it or not, the craziest person at that table wasn't Bush or John, it was that fucker in the middle, Alan Keyes lmao. That guy is FUCKING NUTS.
I'm not a fan of McCain, but I totally agree with his lashing of Alan Keyes! Keyes disowns his own flesh and blood, because she is gay. He's always preaching about what Jesus Christ wants, but he fails to recognize that, the only time Jesus wept, was the time he was seperated from his FATHER!
Before he was president Bush was a great leader. He had a very straightforward approach towards issues. After he became president and the towers hit he had no choice but to have caved. Honestly, he handled the attack on us the best he could, it's the government who corrupted the US. And they just pinned it all on him. You can't blame everything on him.
Keyes' numbers in the polls were not even close to the numbers for Bush and McCain. He should not have even been involved in the debate. He only served to take time away from both McCain and Bush.
McCain is such a sore loser. Keyes destroyed him in that clip and he got all pissed off because of it. His "I've seen killing" defense is the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
A lot of people think that Gore stole that election. But they completely ignore the fact that Gore lost his home state (Tennessee). Had he won Tenn, he would have won the election with indifference to winning Florida. It's never happened when a candidate won an election, yet lost their homestate in that election.
i believe every person has the life to live, if the parent doesnt want to care for it then i believe they should have the right for adoption... people should live no matter how other parties feel.
I can't believe America elected this buffoon. I think McCain would have been a great President back then but not today. The country would be in better shape today if McCain was elected instead of Bush.
@dmm5073 We like McCain now, because of what we didn't know in 2000. McCain is great now, because of Bush's failure's then. To talk about 2000, as if 2000 knew of what was about to happen, is just as ignorant as what 2000 was.
description says bush is rude?....john's the rude one. has his opinion and wont listen to what the bush has to say. but dont get me wrong, i think they're both idiots
Nah, McCain was a way better candidate. Bush was not a blabbering idiot but he definetely seemed incompetent, and he turned out to be even worse than that. It's too bad such a great man like McCain never got to be president.
The neo-conservatives hijacked the GOP's foreign policy. McCain is a traitor to the GOP. We criticized Clinton for his interventionist foreign policy. That's why the GOP got elected to vote against Somalia and Bosnia and the Balkans.
Gergen and Stephanopoulos are CFR assholes.
When Bush Jr got elected he sounded so stupid.
Ron Paul was running on George Bush's foreign policy that he ran on back in 2000.
Just imagine if every GOP congressman voted the same way Paul did.
Bush pandered to the Neo-cons, he basically became one. His policy reflected and that is why Powell turned down coming back when he was re-elected.
Isolationism and Non-interventionism are as bad as Imperialism, just in a different way. You need someone capable to talk to enemies and foes alike, but still strong enough to be able to use force, and wise enough to know when and how much force is necessary. McCain was not a "traitor" to the GOP, he simply assimilated into what it became
I'm glad McCain didn't win. I want, let me change that...WE NEED Alan Keyes as President for 2012! McCain is fake. Bush is naive....Alan Keyes is BRILLIANT!
Your an idiot. McCain pandered to the entire Republican party in '08, trying to do what Bush did, and that required him to be fake. He was not fake in the '00 election.
McCain is the worst of all three playing on pity and saying something that doesn't even come close to allowing him a more objective viewpoint on abortion.
"I've seen a lot of people killed in my life. boohoo. no abortion! BUT KILL THOSE GODDAMN IRANIANS!"
McCain didn't tell anyone to shut up. He had no argument. His intensity meant NOTHING because there was no real content to what he said.
Obama is a decent debater, but what really was the key to this perception is his great skill of public speaking, vivid vocabulary, and his chilled Posture. I love Obama and hope his presidency goes great, but he is not the greatest debater in the world. When it comes to objection and making rebuttle statements, he still needs work.
LOL, McCain brushed these losers. McCain used to be a Maverick. Now he seems like a shadow of his former self, and a copy of a stereotypical Republican.
it is very clear that both bush and mccain purposely dumbed themselves down to make conservatism appear to lack intelligence, in order to clear the way for obama's victory
shouldn't we be concentrating on finding a way to lower the number of abortions in the country as opposed to continuing this whole 'is a fetus a human?' fight that's been going on for years?
I hate how the republican party believes that abortion is an issue that can be decided by the federal government. It's a personal issue, or a state issue at the very least. I don't want some old man in washington deciding the fate of my sperm.

The GOP's best bet to appeal to minority voters would be to push candidates like Bobby Jinal, Michael Steele, and maybe one day George P. Bush. Of course they would probably have to wait a long, long, long time before they run another Bush.
Bush as governor was very articulate and since then he is not good with his diction. What happened??? McCain was a lot better too being very firm on that issue of abortion. I have to agree with JRodB. 2000 = McCain & 2008 = Obama.
man thats alan keyes he ran against obama in the 2004 illinois senate race he is black conservative to the core i mean conservative he always runs for president just not these past 2 elections!
jrod I mean you got it right on the ball! If mccain would have won in 2000 he would have been a good president because his ideas were much more different than his todays like his economic plan and the idea of invading iraq would never have been an issue

Former President Bush (wheww!) is a broken man in 2008...8 years ago he had the world at his feet, he got to office and let neo-conservatives dictate every issue to him, George Bush thank you for your service, I may not have agreed with you but, but just after 9/11 you handled it as well as anyone could have...you took advantage of the American public with Iraq, and you destroyed our economy and loaded us with debt with your policies, but god bless you and your family in the future.
