New tip for the riot shield... other then the throwing knife shit. I use magnum akimbos with stopping power, scavenger, and commando. The pistols are the fastest weapons to swap to as far a secondarys go. What you do with the magnums is wait for an opportunity ( the guy throws a grenade, has to reload, or starts running) and then quick swap to the magnums and light his ass up. If he is close just mash with the shield. If he is shooting but standing still like a dumbass, use a throwing knife.

man the riot shield is so much fun. i run around with throwing knives, riot shield and scavenger (to get throwing knives so I dont have to find them and pick them up). i don't do amazing, best I did was like 9 kills 8 deaths, but its a lot of fun. what really makes me mad though is when people on your team see you have the shield but insist on going in front of you...its all just really awesome though

I got a 9 streak with the riot shield and got the last kill with it twice, talk about cursing. I'm in a clan called RIOT and if you are good with the riot sheild and want to join, my Xbox GT is mahogs7. The map we use the sheild on is skidrow, you can use other guns but on skidrow you have to use the sheild. And if you want to use the sheild on other maps, Ill be glad to use it only if others are.

easy way to kill guys in riot shields is let them rush you and just maneuver around them and shoot. They are slow at turning. Second way is just aim for their feet when they are rushing you.

Don't use blast shield, use throwing knifes. I actually get a positive KD using a riot shield. You block bullets while aiming then throw a knife. Instant kill and they will be pissed off. Also make sure to watch the knife, as you need to pick it up once you throw it. Also, use commando so that you can hit people from farther away in a close range scenario. Use lightweight and marathon so you can go at people fast. Have a teamate behind you to help, and stand in front of sentrys for extra points.

Also, another tip... take a clear piece of tape, color it red with a marker, and then put it on your tv exactly where the knife aimer is. This way, when you are looking through the shield and don't have an aimer, you do have one. You can aim while behind you're shield then quickly throw.
