If this were the 1980's, I'd go the Metallica way no questions asked. They were kickass back then. I still love the old Megadeth tho, don't get me wrong. I have a lot of respect for Dave. But if I were to compare Metallica and Megadeth today, I'd go for Megadeth cuz Metallica basically flipped the bird at the enter metal genre when they went mainstream. You can actually say that Megadeth stayed true to thrash metal and the heavy metal genre throughout their whole career.

what is every ones problem with ]v[EGADET]-[ and /METALLICA\ theyre both the best bands in the world (along with some other bands) i know metallica sucks now a days, but in the 80's wow, and megadeth theyre still great, mustaines vocals never really changed, but theyre a really great band metallica just got too famous and became douches, but in the 80's (when music was good) all the thrash bands were great (big 4)

and about the song, he wrote the music from his emotions after cliff burtons death, but the lyrical content is about his girlfriend or ex girlfriend. so the lyrics have nothing to do with cliff, but the music does.
