my heartsbeat becomes faster, breathing changes... I feel gratitude inside since he makes such a great contribution to making the world a better place. I low he relates to music.

  • Part 2?

  • I love his face, sweetly expressive.

  • Me Gusta

  • does anybody know who arranged it for two pianos, or which editorial edited it, or where can it be bought? thanks

  • Fazil Say's recording definitely better than this performance. :/

  • looks like the piano is punching him in the nuts at 7:55

  • @petezilla LMAO

  • This is incredibly infuriating.

  • @IDTFG What is? The piece, or the method?

  • the other part is also played by fazil say

I found this information at a site about fazil say

  • Here's a good question, who's part of the duet is more difficult?

  • lol a ghost piano

  • stops at the best part :(

  • Stravinsky's a genius. To have a piano score for only one piano that was meant for multiple instruments is just insane to the mind.

  • wonderful, marvelous

  • wonderful

  • It stops at the best part!!!

  • ma vaaaaaaaaaff.............

  • I don't like the pianodisc very much, I think Piano has to be piano, and not one of other machine powered by electricity.

    But, sounds good!

  • wow!!

  • niccccce!

  • I love those turkish grimaces. Even Glenn Gould looks mentally sane compared to this.

  • Hehe, is it so bad? Try Katsaris. :D

    watch?v=BYY47zdi8So

  • TURKISH LEGEND!

  • wooow I'm speechless :) sometimes it sounds almost like the original version vor orchestra^^! i love the piece anyway!! it's fantastic how you can sound out the melody although it's just one instrument which plays all that! fantastic!

  • I don't understand idea of this performance

  • what exactly? Four hand piece, two hands he record and with special technic replay during live performance when he played lst two hands live ;).

    I think cool :)

  • il est phenomenal

  • somebody escaped from the institution

  • i'm confused... why is the piano playing by itself and him playing at the same time?? :/

  • This particular version of the work Le sacre du prinptemps of Stravinsky, is for two pianos; for example, there is a record where Gavrilov and Ashkenazy play the same work

In this case, Fazil Say plays one of the parts, and the other is the piano itself, with an electromechanical system, I think, which acts like a pianola or a player piano.

  • @luisalvaz In the piano version escpecially in the beginning there are some very noticeable 'modern jazzy progressions' you'd miss in the instrumental version. Now we know where today's jazz pianists get their inspiration.

  • @luisalvaz The pianist recorded himself playing one part into the MIDI and then plays the other part with himslef live...

  • He basically played one of the parts before this show, and the piano recorded it. In this clip, the piano if performing that first part while Fazil is playing a different part at the same time.

  • @Superclarinetmorman1 I think because it's a four hands piece.

  • interesting, using the player function for an orchestral piece, I have heard many piano renditions of this piece - this is by far the best I have heard...

    I still perfer the original

Fazıl tarih yazıyor, sen orda boşuna parmaklarını yorma, kırık dökük ego filan...Komiksin. GÜNEŞ BALÇIKLA SIVANMAZZZ. Bu böyle biline...

  • Smiling misin nesin sen o egoya kurban ol e mi? :o) Piyanoyu güzel çalmışmış, sağol ya sen olmasan kimse anlayamayacaktı!!! Expersindir ya o bakımdan yani! Hah! :P

  • just amazing. the changes this piece brought to the way we see, listen to, and write music today makes this piece one of the most pivotal pieces of the 20th century.

  • Wondelful! But where is the remain of the piece!

  • piyano guzel calmıssın..kırık döküklükten toplayıp fazlasıyla şişirdiğin egona faydası olmamıs ne diyelim..

  • Değerli sanatçımız Fazıl Bey:Sanatçı olunmaz sanatçı doğulur.Ben 9 yıl Konservatuvarda piyano, solfej, armoni dersleri eğitimi almış, sonradan bileklerimdeki doğuştan olduğu doktorlarca söylenen bir rahatsızlık yüzünden ağlaya ağlaya konservatuvarı bırakmak zorunda kaldım.Konserlerinizi hayranlıkla izlemekteyim.

    saygılarımla

  • Yorumunuza bisey demiyorum ancak, sanatci olunmaz sanatci dogulur sozunuz dogru degil. Her insanin icinde sanatcilik vardir.

  • enfes... kulaklarimizin pasi silindi. Tesekkurler ellerine saglik FAZIL SAY!...

  • harika tek kelimeyle... exelent!!!!

  • lykan19 heryere ayni boku yazip duruyorsun.. bak fazil´in piyanosunun tuslarini ananin amina sokarim tek tek. sokarken de tatlises ten "tek tek" isimli parcayi caldiririm. yani ananin amcigini kumbaraya ceviririm.söylesene akp baba na is´mi verdi yada ihale mi. yoksa seni mi maasa bagladilar sizi gidi cikarcilar memfaatciler satilmislar sahtekärlar

  • I can only express disbelieve!

  • Fuckin' Hell! Enormous talent he gets!

  • this guy plays the piano like a devil. I mean in a good way of course. He's probably a modern version of Lizt. Gifted, crazy, a showman and a chick magnet

  • It's no doubt the Say is gifted, and quite capable of playing the (probably 2-3 parts) recorded digitally on that CD reproducing piano. Old idea, new technology.

His antics on stage are to keep the boobs interested, which is to say he is also a showman. Did I mention he is a gifted pianist? Loves American Jazz and Blues, hates America (he's a Turkish Nationalist).

The second part is a recording of a real pianist or a computer

  • Perche'???

  • Sorry, I don't have that information... but I'll make a quik research to tell you who recorded the other part of the piece...

  • Did Say also record the piano roll part? Or is that played by someone else? This is the first time I have seen such a performance. It is spellbinding, and Say is definitely gifted.

  • işte böyle bir şey deha dedikleri... çok yaşa FAZIL!!!

  • Cok muthis bisey, onceden kayitli piyanoyla ustuste calismak ,gercekten dahi olmak gerek bu parcada takilmadan calabilmek icin.Tsk.Fazil.

  • It is kind simple, do you know the "piano rolls"?, is similar. The interesting thing about this piece is that it had been written for two pianos (listen the Ashkenazy & Gavrilov version), but in this case Fazil Say shows that just by him self can confront the challenges of the entire work. Well, I suggest to you research a little more about this work, and sepecially this amazing interpretation.

  • What the hell is this? Is this guy playing with his mind or something? And to the people writing below me: Write in English so I can find some significance to this ridonculous video.

    Love,

    Crono6582

  • this is probably the single most significant video you have seen in your insignificant life. btw what is 'ridonculous' and who is crono6582 lol

  • A to je už čo za chujovina, čo tam má nieaký stroj čo hrá zaňho?

  • bravo.

  • como se mueven solas las teclas!!!!!!!!!!!!1
