He died at the end of Buffy. He was brought back for the last season of Angel. His soul was trapped in the amulet he wore and Lindsay sent it to Angel, to screw with his world. Spike was a ghost for the first half of the season, then he was finally made corporeal, again by Lindsay. Angel and Spike spent the rest of the season competing for who was the vampire with a soul mentioned in the Shamshu Prophecy. Spike made it to the end of the Angel series. These comics are very real.
In the Time Bomb episode of season 5, Illyria killed Spike, Lorne, Wesley, and Angel. Illyria then suffered from a time tremor sending her back to a time before the killing. Upon learning what happened, Angel then prevented it from happening again. Thus saving Spike, Lorne, Wesley and himself.
i hate comics. how could they bring it back as a comic and think wed all be happy. they could make scripts out of the comics and get the show back on air. they all said they didnt want it to end so why cant they bring it back. i know they are all 5 years older but they look the same. and i know andey hallet (lorne) died but he said to them not to look for him.
Believe me, I'd rather have the show back on the air, as well. Unfortunately The WB (now the CW) needed to make room for season 17,456 of '7th Heaven' and season 5,687 of 'One Tree Hill'. Now, the CW thinks a stupid show like 'The Vampire Diaries' can make up for it. No wonder the network tanked. Anyway, the creators had to move on to other projects and we get a comicbook as consolation. It's better than nothing and maybe we will end up getting a great animated movie out of it.
It's not that simple? You really think putting a TV show together is a matter of some old mates going "hey should we do another season?"
Because, although in an ideal world it would be, it just isn't so. Actors become unavailable, writers are busy and directors have other things they're working on, and we haven't even gotten to how tight assed television networks tend to be...
Seriousley, the Buffy comics might suck but After The Fall is perfect, and if you don't like it, don't read it.
dude i would love for it to happen but spike and angel thy look too old to do the role i mean it would be wierd seeing a vampire tht dnt age look really older i wouldnt mind it happining though :)
@Traceurb Umm news flash dude, the actors are older now and would need like cg. This wouldn't matter if they weren't immortal. Secondly who knows if they would even do the show still.

Look on Amazon. They have the first five issues composed into volume 1 and the following three issues composed into volume 2. Volume 2 is called 'The First Night', because it details all of the events of what happened to each character after the fall of W&H. Obviously, your online comics are missing some of the pages or at least the cover art. They ARE the comic. I can even tell you what pages they are from, if you'd like.
