What I'm thinking is that the short films had to do not with the overall plot of the game, but with the brittleness and loss of sanity altogether.

Pt.2 There is nothing short of a 3 movie deal, done by the right people, that could bring this great story (ED) to film, in the same way the game delivered it. Even then, we know how the story ends. As far as Mr. Daighters, I believe he would be a great addition to the script team, that would be needed for such a project.

Pt.1 I found it creative, but predictable. Not bad for a short film. In my attention to the small details, I definately expierence some of the Eternal Darkness feel. However, the game carried fear, horror, interactive insanity, 12 solid characters, the Ancients, in a H.P. Lovecraft style mystery.

They're lonely individuals with no friends or anyone that cares about them.

It's really just one step towards looking down the chamber of a .45 and just wondering if you have what it takes to...pull that trigger.

I can sit for hours and wonder about it....sometimes I get close, sometimes these people get close to being cared about but we're all made to suffer.

I saw this film years ago, when Eternal Darkness was new. This film is by FAR the most amazing short film inspired by a video game I've ever seen. This film, by itself, is incredible. I've loved it since I first saw it. Well done, maestro.

Volume was really low, but meh, whatever. I wouldn't say it was scary, but I'll give it a 10 for creepiness. The whole puppet mechanism was pretty damn disturbing.

OK, so I kind of knew what the twsit was, but the apparatus attached to the back was genius, and kudos to whoever was in charge of the music. If I've learned anything from Candyman and Philip Glass, it's that mixing the groteseque with the beautiful often makes horror even more harrowing.

I liked it but I kind of realized exactly what was going on right when i saw him hugging her. AND i think it would have been more freaky by cutting the scene of right when she puts her head up, he makes a comment, OVER it would have been scarier that way the way they have itt its like "OH! oh... okay nothing to grand" :P i like the camera work

Cutting Room Floor had AWFUL acting. And it also had a predictable twist. At least this one is creepy like Eternal Darkness. The camera work is really well done; and that corpse machine was unexpected. I'm glad this one won.

This has been a favorite of mine for years! I first came across it back when Eternal Darkness first hit Gamecube and I did a web search for some info on it. I LOVE this short. BRILLIANT!!

It wasn't about horror, or even fear. It was mainly about Insanity.

I think it is a great short. The Pacing, good production, camera work and modest yet decent acting.

It's not going to set the world on fire, but it's a good watch for some.
