Ive got a SRM225i its a straight shaft. But I love echo it is the best weedeater ive ever had. I can cut anything

when you start that we have the exact same one if it does that start and quit move the cold start switch and the kill switch a few times it should start within a few pulles

ur supposed to hold it wide open when you have it on full choke. and all priming it does is force all the air out of the fuel system

Gotta love those Echo's. I have a srm2400sb. It has the split shaft so you convert it into an edger and other stuff as well.
