Amen! This is so true! Learning to be content in your single state, where it is just you and Christ, is the ultimate fulfillment and it will undoubtedly prepare you for a relationship with another person. I heard a teaching one on singleness and the statement was made that 2 ppl who just want to marry will not make a happy home, but 2 content single ppl coming together can. Praise the Lord for this message.

Pastor Justin I have a good friend that I believe is committed to being a fruit bearing Christ follower and yet from many of our conversations I believe she is still too concerned with being married. I would even say that this person could possibly be making an idol of marriage. I have done my best to advise her but if you could say something to this person what would it be?
