  • Nice video and commentary. Your cabling leaves a bit to be desired lol ;-) but not bad for a first effort - and you are obviously enthusiastic about the technology! Well done!

  • hi iv lost the manual is there any chance you chould send me one piz or where i chould downlood one thanks kaz

  • Hi! Just wondering if you have any idea where I can get a copy of the manual for this? Thanks! Gaz

  • @garyratcliffe62 im not really sure. Have you tried micromark website?

  • hey can u tell me the modle for this thx

  • Oh yeah, by the way....I love your voice & You seem so passionate about your alarms. It's quite alarming!

  • Yeah, I found one in the rubbish in Australia....But cant it be silenced if someone just rips out the 'external siren' wire?

  • why u said to cover our ears if its a video...turn pc sound down

  • @harrygoozee what ever u like. just an expression

  • I'm guessing that the PIR isn't connected as you were walking around while the alarm was set?

  • @wgreen1001 it was. just didnt work. just connecting it up and down to many times damaged it i think. i have a much better alarm system now

  • my zone one light will not tern off what can i do

  • @1234dooood i had this problem. if you have only connected a PIR to that zone then it wont work. you need to connect a PIR and a magnetic door contact to make it work...i think

  • i have got a door contact connected to the pir through the yellow wire but the zone one lights just wont turn off when i set it.

  • @1234dooood this must be something to do with all the alarms. cos mine did the same as yours. I think the PIR may be broken or the system dosnt recognise it. Cos it may think that the PIR is a closed circuit when you set the system .Soryy :)

  • did you have any problems cos ibaught one and the red status led is always on could you tell me what to do

  • @1234dooood do have the siren connected up? if so is it connected up correctly?

is the tamper switch at the back pressed down? if this is the case and you have fixed the problem, type in the you code and it should reset itself. i had the same problem!!

  • did you have any problems

  • it looks a bit of a cheap rubbish alarm, could you get a yale alarm and test that for me please as i'm thinking of buying one for my house.

  • @badboywill1122 i dont use this one anymore. I have an optima Compact which is MUCH better

  • want too get one for my shed very helpfull and i agree bargain !! thanks

  • i want too get one for my shed very helpfull and i agree bargain !! thanks

  • alarm in your own room? Srssly why the hell?

  • @Damaruth cos its a hobby. i have a fire alarm system running through the house thouhg

  • love alarms

  • Is the wire long enough to fit around a whole house because I'm thinking of getting one for my home.

  • Yes. If you buy a kit, (Only £30-£40) you will get 40 metres of wire.

  • i saw a network with the motion sensor, to another different magnetic sensor then to your main system. What does the wires connects to inside the motion detector?

  • 3 connections in the motion sensor. Then the contact only takes 2 connections.

  • hi, just brought this alarm but arived with no instructions, how do you reset the code?? cheers

  • ill send u a pm

  • =[ i don't understand...

can you make a video of you making the network?

  • ok ill try to get round to doin it.

  • THANKS!!! Thank you so much...

  • Sorry that dosnt bother me

  • ADT will match and beat any competitor plus give you a free system check them out 1877-445-9422 it wont hurt to call and ask.

  • Thanks for your info :-)

  • Could u plz make a video showing the inside of the externalv siren. =]

  • Of course :D

  • so are all alarms.they are not made for the price we pay for them.and im guessing your against the uk

  • well i do live here in the uk but yes some of the uk companies are a bit poor. It just depends on what componie you go with. So i mainly just get it from ebay most of the time :D

  • these alarms are quite good except a burgular could disconnect the siren, pirs, power and door contacts through the keypad/control panel and the neighbours would think its false.good alarm though i use it on my shed

  • Ye the alarm only goes if if you disconnect a siren. if disconnect a zone nothing happens. there good standered, cheep

  • its quite basic compared to some other intruder alarm systems but its easy to use and very LOUD!!!

  • Oh yes, and there has ben some loud experinces during the night lol, the panel wasnt on the hook properly causing the tamper switch to cause an alarm.

  • haha! that sounds all too familiar!! my experience has been THIS IS A FIRE ALARM PLEASE LEAVE THE BUILDING IMMEDIATELY BY THE NEAREST AVAILABLE EXIT!!! and ive had experiences with my wireless intruder alarms signal being jammed which triggers the alarm AND my accenta G4's tampered internal speaker falling down sounding like someone has broken in and the alarms gone off!!!

  • lol,

  • Thanks!

  • my name is mark lol.
