@sasktank Really? A whole lot of scientists who specialize in atmospheric chemistry and climatology would disagree with you. An increase of CO2 in the upper atmosphere traps heat, and since burning fossils fuels causes huge amounts of CO2 to be released then it is assumed that man is accelerating overall global warming. Natural increases in temperature might occur in a thousand years, now it's increasing within decades.

The CO2 level is responsive to the temperature not the other way around. Gore slipped that fallacy passed a lot of people but it is complete bullshit. It makes sense if you think about it.

The graph that polluted your mind into thinking there is a sudden temperature change due to cow farts is called the hockey stick. It looks so dramatic because they cherry picked data that supports the lie and omits the majority of sensor data that does not.
