Why did obama mention hunting? Hunting has absolutely nothing to do with the 2nd ammendmant. The 2nd Ammendmant is a right that shall not be infringed, because it ensures the Citizens right to fight back if a tyrannical government takes over. That's what it's for.

I aggree, there is very little use for a sawed off shotgun, but the problem is, who gets to decide what firearms should be allowed, and which do not get allowed? That is giving someone a good deal of power.

@Antiworld23 are you serious? listen I own guns so dont give me some I dont support gun laws crap, but to say a sawn off isn't deadlier than a pistol is straight retarded. Shooting a pistol in a crowd takes some type of aim, a sawn off sprays probably three times as wide as a regular shotgun. That could kill 4 or more people with one shot. Why would you need a sawn off, just keep the barrel at 18 inches and you'll still do plenty of damage.

Yes so if a guy's shotgun happens to be 17.90 inches we should hall his ass off to jail but if it's 18 inches he's A okay. Those laws governing the length of a rifle or shotgun are bull shit plain and simple. It's okay to have an AR15 with an 11 inch barrel but don't you but a buttstock on it or we'll send you to a federal pound-me-in-the-ass prision. It's an absurd rediculous law that should be amended and removed.
