This movie started changing the Bond movies into a semi- comic book approach. Can you see Red Grant (played by Robert Shaw) challenging Sean Connery to a Fun House duel in From Russia With Love?!! No way. There were many parts of this movie that I enjoyed, but I wish the producers and directors and especially the screenwriters had kept this movie more serious.

everyone thinks this is one of the worst bond films. i think it is a classic. it is also is my second favorite bond film behind the spy who loved me. it's just that everyone still wanted connery. i mean this was only moore's 2nd film. moore didn't get huge impact until the spy who loved me. spy who loved me is what started him to do 4 more films. man with golden gun had some corny moments but that's what they wanted back then.

oh man i just re-watched this after not seeing it in many a year.
