@a280281 Thanks! I built a cheap piezo mic and then silicone glued it to a hole cut in the underside. It gives off too much noise to be of use on stage, but works for fiddling around at home :-)
that was very good just for having a little fun, i mean is sounds really great! can you tell me what metal did you use tu build your thumb piano, and where did you get it from?
@bad1marius - Thanks :-) The metal is called spring steel and is from a plumber's tool called sewer tape. You can find it at a hardware store possibly. You can find a picture of it if you google sewer tape.
Hey dude, as far as my musician's vision (wouldn't ear?) can see, this is the best thumb piano i've seen (i wanted to make one like (with some mahogany or so plate), but i don't know any of those, and in addition, i'm in brazil (sorry for the english!), and these things are dificult to come by...
Can you tell me, how you did this marvellous instrument, and wich music is this?
Glad you liked it :-) I sing through the octave effect from an ElectroHarmonix Voicebox to get the bass - the same pedal gives that parallel harmony effect you hear in there too.
this is amazing how are you running the thumb piano into the loop pedal ????
