You know who else is a for-profit company? The Church of Scientology! Yet for some twisted reason, it gets tax exemption in the US and other countries!

Do you think that their tax exempt status should be revoked, because the Church of Scientology acts more like a business than a non-profit organization?

I do not have to try street drugs, do crime or drown to have the opinion that street drugs, crime and drowning is bad for you. The same goes for investigating a destructive and lying cult. I am capable of reading and communicating, and probably most important of all, able to learn from the mistakes of others. The core of the criticism is based on personal experience reported by many former Scientologists and critics who have been harassed by the Church of Scientology.

Glendale PD is a for profit corp. But understand that any business that transacts is considered a trade (as in trade line). The term trading simply means that they are conducting business. Thats what D&B reports. Just look up a business that you know is not publicly traded and you will see the term used for them as well.

I am not discounting the 'for profit' status, but let's be clear on the fact that they are NOT 'publicly' traded.

It makes sense to me why they give tickets to everyone. There has to be 3 elements for anything to be a crime. Look it up if you dont believe me. the actus rea. the act. the mens rea. the intent. and last element which is ALMOST NEVER there. The victim or injured party. This is why speeding tickets get kicked out when i get them. Who is the injured party or victim when you speed? Sorry guys but I just let the cat out of the bag even though i am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice ;)
